Fall in love with these captivating trees.

🌴 Fast Growing: Queen Palms are known for their rapid growth rate. They can grow up to 2-3 feet each year, making them a popular choice for quickly establishing a tropical landscape.

🍄‍ Symbiotic Relationships: Queen Palms have a symbiotic relationship with mycorrhizae. These fungi colonize the palm's roots, aiding in nutrient and water absorption, which is crucial for the palm's health, especially in nutrient-poor soils.

🌴 Feathery Fronds: The fronds of the Queen Palm have a feather-like appearance. Each frond can grow up to 15 feet long, contributing to the palm's elegant and graceful look.

🏡 Landscape Use: Beyond their aesthetic appeal, Queen Palms are used in landscaping to provide shade and create a cooling effect. Their tall, slender trunks and lush canopies are ideal for lining streets and driveways and creating focal points in gardens.

💚 Longevity: Queen Palms have a relatively long lifespan for a palm species. They can live for several decades with proper care, providing lasting beauty to the landscapes they adorn.

👑 Symbol of Elegance: Queen Palms are often associated with elegance and luxury due to their stately appearance. They are frequently used in high-end residential and commercial landscaping projects to convey a sense of sophistication and tropical allure.

Senettis: the vibrant winter bloom we cant get enough of 💜 Here are a few quick tips for mastering these gorgeous cool-season blooms in your garden this year 👇

🌞 place your senettis in a full sun or part sun spot (6+ hours of sunshine)

💦 keep your Senetti soil moist but not waterlogged. Check with your finger - if keeping in a container, water every other day depending on the weather.

🥀Deadhead frequently to promote new buds! Prized for their long and prolific bloom period during the cool early months of the year, continually removing spent blooms encourages a long and beautiful Senetti season.

🇮🇨These are a garden hybrid, but their parent species are native to the Canary Islands. Many SoCal friendly plants hail from the Mediterranean climate of the Canary Islands because of our similar conditions.

🤍Senettis come in an array of cool colors including rich purple, bright blue, magenta, lavender, white, and many bicolor variations. Which is your favorite? 💜

The ancient story & symbolism of hellebores 💜🌿
These beautiful winter flowers date back to gardens as far back as the first century AD. They have been treasured by horticulturists for thousands of years for their exquisite blooms that brighten even the darkest of winter days.

🥀Christmas Rose: Legend has it a young shepherd girl had nothing to offer to the baby Jesus on the night of his birth so she wept - and her tears turned into hellebores.

💜 Resilliance & Transformation: These flowers bloom in the depths of winter and can withstand many adverse conditions. They have become a symbol of hope & renewal because of their fortitude.

⚕️Ancient Medicine: They are toxic and fell out of favor but were used for many centuries as a purgative, solidifying its place in the kitchen garden.

Now these perennials are used as ornamental plants in the landscape, a wonderful addition to a shady garden and a symbol of hope for spring to come. 🌿
