The creation of this was 4 dozen hand drawn motifs that were thrown on an art board to create a composition but the act of throwing it on the art board, I mean am I genius or did they all not fall perfectly in place? 😅

The other day I was dreading washing my blinds (if you live in LA ikyk) I really wanted a film to get rid of the blinds all together and get as much light as possible.

Growing up in Toronto, I always loved the diamond pane windows, it just equals cozy to me, so I made some myself. I am very happy with the result and am looking to sell in the shop.

Licitar’s are the symbol of Zagreb, Croatia, where most of my family was born (I’m the only one born in Rijeka, represent!) Our Christmas trees main ornament was dozens of licitars, honey dough biscuits with decorative frosting, not to be eaten but to be hung as an ornament.

Carnivorous Plant Drosea Binata “Forked-Leaf Sundew” found in the bogs of New Zealand, Tanzania and southeastern Australia. Some metallic beetles are ready to meet their fate.

Also, a rainy day in Los Angeles so this seemed appropriate. Happy hump day!

Daily pattern pick. This tulip repeat is great because it repeats every 4 foot, giving it a more seamless look.

The pattern came about from a $2 bundle of left over tulips, but they sure stole the spotlight in this beautiful repeat.

Begonia Maculata or more commonly know as the Spotted Begonia. I was dreaming of this plant, almost splurged on a propagation on Etsy but then…

On a random trip to Ace Hardware, **Santa Monica** I found it in all its splendor and purchased a 2 foot spotted begonia for only $15 dollars. Needless to say, it made my weekend, it flowered for almost a month, and is already growing 6 new leaves making me a very proud plant momma.

So proud of this gem, I made it into a wallpaper and it’s really become one of my favorite designs as much as it’s one of my favorite plants 💕

I love the blue in depictions of Hindu gods such as Kali. The type of symbolism to show immortality is so well done.

Our immortality is directly linked to the universe around us and our connection with the stars. We are all just little universe in ourselves ✨
