Rose Bowl Diving

This past week we had the great honor to present an outstanding olympic trials achievement award to the great Joshua Thai for his fabulous performance at the 2024 US Olympic Trials.

Josh, thank you for making us all proud at Rose Bowl. Thank you for being a fantastic teammate and roll model to our littles all summer long. We are proud of you and your accomplishments and cannot wait to see your road to LA 2028 😉

I don’t know about you, but we had a wonderful time celebrating our divers and the great strides our team took over the last few months. 🌹

2024 Jr Nationals Update 🌹

Day 9 or 10 is in the books. We have lost count. James wrapped up his championship season on the big stage with some big things taking 39th on 1 meter and ranking 26th in the country on 3 meter 🤯

We learned a lot and grew a lot out of this experience. We also continue to learn that this kid loves food. Might need to bake that into his training plans.. More on that later 😉

Day 9780 is in the books. Chloe completed in her 3 meter event taking 34th in the event, wrapping up their championship season on the big stage! Excited to wrap up this season and start working on those upgrades - 107 and 5136 coming soon 😳

Day 3 is in the books. Maddox completed his 3 meter event taking 19th out of 36 divers in the event! Although only the top 6 divers move on to semis - he out together some great dives.

Day 1 is in the books. Maddox completed his 1 meter event taking 14th out of 36 divers in the event! Although only the top 6 divers move on to semis - we are VERY proud of the hard work and the awesome list he put together.

This result ranks him 35th in the country for the 12-13 age group in 1 meter 😎

Business with a side of fun! 🐠

Beside all the diving we have done, we have also had a little but of fun. We went from above springboard diving to ocean diving 🤿

We saw turtles, fish, eels, pet a shark, and even saw Michael and Teo in the wild! 10/10 recommend.

Great new, LA! We have added a new Learn To Dive Day 🥳

Our 1 day, learn to dive program is a 1 ½ hour, skill progression program that offers divers the opportunity to learn basic skills while enhancing their knowledge about our awesome sport. Any individual, 6 years or older, who has an interest in diving and can swim comfortably in the deep water and can join this class.

For #3 on our list of the 10 Newest Golden Eagles, we spring over to the boards to welcome CHLOE DOBIE from Mission Hills, CA. We’re back in the diving game as this CIF finalist will bring her 1m and 3m skills, along with her toughness and enthusiasm to CUI.

I don’t know about you but we had a blast this weekend at the CDC Invitational. We did a lot, learned a lot, and dove a lot. Squeeze a few qualifiers out for summer championships 🫶🏼

Our lessons groups are designed for the youngest new athletes to our sport (between the ages of 5 and 13). Divers in this group need no experience to join. We strive to make this group fun and enjoyable while allowing your athlete to fall in love with our sport. We explore mechanics, body control, and build confidence as we learn new dives! 🤩
