DHRC + LA Marathon Info.
Come join us as DHRC takes over the LA Marathon on Sunday, March 17, 2024! We are teaming up with Pacers Nation to cheer and support all LAM runners.
Runners: You’ve done the training now it’s time to enjoy the race! You’re going to do great and we’ll be there cheering you at mile 20! Things to know: at mile 20 be on the lookout for DHRC/Pacer runners with flags that will be there to run you into the cheer station so be ready to tell us what you need and to take a picture. It will be easier to find you if you’re wearing your DHRC yellow shirts.
Details for the LA Marathon 20 Mile Cheer Station:
Meeting Time: 7:00am
Be aware that the later you arrive, the more difficult it will be to find parking. The race itself starts at 7am at the Dodgers Stadium, so we will not be seeing any runners by us at mile 20 for at least one hour after start time.
Cheer Station Location: 1640 S Sepulveda Blvd - near Massachusetts Ave. Please scout your parking options prior to arriving. We suggest the southwest side of Sepulveda. Be prepared to be flexible.
Bring: Water/beverages of choice, food, snacks, camping chairs. We will have some cheer signs, but bring any cheer items such as bells, noise makers, etc., if you have them.
Wear: Comfortable clothing and running shoes. DHRC yellow shirts are a must if you have one, and layers are recommended, given LA temperature.
**If you are up to jog some fun miles, we are looking for anybody who would like to run with flags and es**rt our Pacer and DHRC runners into the cheer tent/pit stop for snacks, hydration, kool-n-fit muscle spray, etc., just check in with Michelle or Jenn.
See you all on Sunday!
This bunch came ready to swim! Happy Pisces season and happy birthday to our VP (takes the pictures).
