We just had our quarterly meeting on July 22, 2024 and presented scholarship to 4 domestic scholarship recipients who couldn’t join us on July 7’s award ceremony! Congratulations to Lillian, Enoch, Ethan and Ashley!

晨光基金會七月七日在聖蓋博市（San Gabriel）Hilton酒店舉辦2024年獎助學金頒獎晚宴，今年共7名留學生及27名本地生受惠，是歷年來得獎學生數目最多的一年!!!!

留學生每名獲頒6000元獎學金，本地生每名獲頒5000元獎學金，得主包括來自中港臺的留學生及美國本地的大學及研究所學生，主修遍及各專業領域。更有連續多年的獲獎學生。申請學生經書面審核和專業人士組成的評委書面審核及網路面試，决定最終獎學金得主。頒獎晚宴上學生代表上臺分享求學歷程，在親友的陪伴下，場面溫馨感人。

再次恭喜所有獲獎學生，也謝謝所有貴賓們的到場及捐款支持！

凡南加居民就讀全美大學及研究所均可申請！

晨光基金會「留學生獎學金」及「本地生獎學金」即日起至4月30日接受申請。晨光基金會去年擴大「本地生獎學金」的申請資格後，造福更多莘莘學子，共計有29位學生獲獎，其中17位為美國華裔本地生。今年晨光基金會「本地生獎學金」繼續歡迎凡就讀全美國認可的 4 年制學院或大學及碩士課程，居住地為南加州的美國公民或華裔永久居民申請。

過去晨光基金會本地生獎學金的資格限為就讀加州的大學生或研究生，去年度擴大接受凡就讀全美國認可的 4 年制學院或大學及碩士課程，居住地為南加州的美國公民或華裔永久居民後，獲得社區熱烈反應。今年將繼續接就讀全美大學的南加本地生申請，希望幫助更多學生，減低他們就讀大學的財務壓力。

「留學生獎學金」的申請資格為：就讀南加州大學及研究所，來自中國、香港、澳門和台灣或其他地區和國家的華人留學生。

有興趣申請晨光基金會（美國）獎學金者可將填好的申請書及相關資料， 以 PDF 格式發送至晨光基金會獎助學金：[email protected]（請在主題欄註明：申請晨光基金會美國留學生/本地生獎助學金）。基金會將根據申請者的資格、申請書及相關文件於 5 月份進行初選，篩選出符合資格者接受評委面試。獲獎

Morning Light Foundation's Scholarship Committee has been working hard on reviewing and grading the foreign scholarship applicants. We also had our zoom interview last Sunday! Thank you for those judges who spent your Sundays working on this and thank you for those participated in the interview. We shall have our results soon!

We are also starting on reviewing the domestic scholarship applications!

Today is the last day to submit the domestic scholarship application! Please double check to include every required document! We will review each application first then notify the selected ones for interview toward the end of May.

Morning Light Foundation is expanding its MLF (USA) domestic scholarship program. Starting 2022, Domestic Students Scholarship eligibility will be expanded to:

*U.S. citizen or permanent resident of Chinese descent.
*Current: Students of Chinese descent who is enrolling to an accredited 4 year college or university full-time in Southern California or
*Added: Students of Chinese descent who are Southern California residents (Residency Address) who is enrolling to an accredited 4 year college or university in the whole state of California.
