The country of Nigeria accounts for 20% of the world’s maternal mortality rate.

When I first heard this stat, it stopped me in my tracks. This means that that every time a woman gets pregnant she will most likely die during labor. That’s why I’m joining The Jonah Inheritance in improving healthcare access to Nigerian women by equipping Nigerian doctors to provide high quality medical care. Their team of 16 individuals is traveling to Nigeria this summer to continue the work and they can’t do it without your help.

Something I’ve learned overtime is that real people produce real ministry.... pulled me aside after a Mother’s Day service and asked me to tell her a story about my precious mother - our conversation helped me to have joy in the midst of grief. That day it was a conversation, other days it’s her funny videos… its all connected her purpose… thank you
