Understanding The Link Between Empathy And Anxiety In Gifted Children For gifted children, relaxation is often hard to come by. Not only can their bright and creative minds conjure up endless reasons to worry, these children are often perfectionists. They’re prone to being highly critical of themselves and can therefore become unhealthily driven.

Seeing the whole gifted child - Counseling Today Counselors must avoid common misconceptions and take a holistic view of gifted children to better assess and treat their mental health needs.

Check out the conversation at the 1:20:00 mark over adding an extra class to service gifted kids in the middle school. Mrs. LeJeune did a great job advocating for our kiddos.
