I want to thank Susan for sharing her new Lunenburg Floorcloth runner!! The more I look at the pictures the more I want to paint my kitchen cabinets red!!!

I've been working a bit on trying to become more minimalistic and declutter my home. I have listed a few items on Marketplace and given away tons of things to my kids. I thought since I make and sell floor cloths that I would go ahead and post my oval braided rug that I'm selling on here as well. I love my floorcloths but I also like braided and oriental rugs as well. I ordered this rug eight months ago from Stroud Braided Rugs. It is 100% water proof and is made of olefin yarn. My husband was never a big fan of the colors I chose for the rug. It is a big one measuring 13x16 and it does come with a premium rug pad also purchased from Stroud. I have them all folded up and shrink wrapped. If anyone on here is interested, I can box it and ship it to you. The rug is reversable. I have dogs and cats so if you have allergies, you would want to clean it. I paid over $1700 for it and am asking $700. I'm in Ohio so if you want to pick it up, cash is fine. If you want it shipped, I will need your zip code so I can get a shipping price and will invoice through PayPal.

$125 plus shipping. This size can be used on the floor or on a square table. It is made of heavy duty canvas, antiqued and will get multiple coats of waterbased polyurethane for floors.

I've had a few people ask if I can make an 8x10. I have made a few in the past but I had a much larger space to work out of at our old home. I took time off after our move last summer and started back slow and small over the fall. We doubled my work table over the weekend so I can work on several orders at a time. The largest I can make right now would be a 6x8. If you need something larger, I will gladly refer you to someone who can. We made it through winter and although the forecast doesn't look so great, it is Spring!!

One of the hardest things for me when it comes to making floor cloths is waiting for the paint to dry. I get so excited to start on the design. It's all part of the process.

Just a few pictures of how I do the hems on my floor cloths

Beginning stages of creating a new floor cloth. Once the canvas is cut from the bolt, I staple the outsides and begin priming. The canvas will shrink and the staples help it to shrink nice and even

One very important thing in caring for your floor cloth is to Never Fold It!! If you need to clean or wax your floors from under your floor cloth or you are moving to another home, you want to roll it, never fold!! Folding will cause cracks. When you receive your floor cloth, you want to bring it inside and let it come to room temperature before unrolling it. Yor floor cloth will eventually settle to the flooring beneath it. It is very important to make sure your floors are clean before laying it down. If you have issues with them sliding, you can put two-sided tape on the bottom corners or use poster tack. I've attached a few photos of what my finished floor cloths look like and how they are rolled before I box them for shipping

Ever wonder what the bottom/back side of a canvas floor cloth looks like? here you go. It has two coats of primer, same as the finished side and has a finished hem that lays nice and flat. There are different ways you can do the hem, but I like to do mine once all the priming is done and dry. I use a roller to get it nice and flat.

After almost two years of battling with a shoulder injury, I got a steroid injection and feel amazing!! I was able to make this set almost pain free!!
