The window backlight was so special in this image of Nikki. I love working from the sides of a pose. There is often a surprise waiting. In this one I found her grace.

This is Nikki ♥️ When I make romance style images, I want a look that speaks to the femininity of a woman. Her essence and so much more than close up views. Here lies the story.

…and so a few weeks ago I went to the Factory to test light and a background I hand painted in 2014. They were having a vendor mixer and I showed up to make some portraits with attendees who weren’t aware of the situation. Definitely a come as you are moment. I was checking out the arrivals and was in love with the green moment Isabelle of was sporting. Even the shoes needed an ovation. She was definitely into it and now has a pretty cool branding image for the Art Factory! 🤩

I’m so happy to present this article. It comes from my 2 times visiting Morocco 🇲🇦 and learning about the mysteries of pure argan oil production. An ancient beauty ritual.

Adding to the behind the scenes video is one of the portraits finished on 16x24 canvas that was presented to the client yesterday, so now I can post it. It was a good moment for them since they default to looking to the camera. I directed them to look down the beach 🏝️ and let me work with the baby. I was able to have her look at me and got this picture.

On this International Women’s Day I am wishing all of the fabulous women in my life around the world 🌎 a life of peace, love and harmony.

I spent over a week developing a new website on a different platform for my studio clients and made it live just yesterday!

It’s also the first blog I have ever written for it. I will be adding more features soon but it’s looking great and informative.
It’s best viewed on a computer 💻 🌝
