NEB Annual Campaign and Kickoff Event Help NE Basecamp to support more educators and students

Tapping into the Metacognition of Mistakes Getting kids to identify and classify the types of mistakes they make gives them the tools they need to drive their own learning.

It's Assistant Principals' Week! Who keeps our schools running smoothly & supports students & staff? Tag your amazing AP & show them some love!

Coleman Elementary educators in Woonsocket use their new school-wide values to brainstorm expectations for shared spaces in the school (e.g. recess, hallway, cafeteria). These teachers read a blog post from PBISApps Teach By Design Blog, which helped them use a culturally responsive lens to draft their expectations and make a plan to gather input and feedback from students and families!

Exciting Learning Exchange at UCAPl! 📚✨ A group of dedicated teachers and teaching partners gathered to share insights and learn from one another's experiences. Janet Davidson, a passionate math teacher and co-chair of our equity team, led an inspiring session on engaging students daily with academic learning objectives.

Participants delved deep, asking clarifying and probing questions, eager to incorporate Janet’s strategies into their own practices. This collaborative session is a key part of the UCAP equity team’s annual action plan, aimed at enhancing cognitive demand through increased engagement with learning objectives.
