Student Athletes from Shea High School were honored today at the Key Spirit Awards. The Award is Presented to one athlete of each team whom exemplifies: Perseverance, Effort, Spirit, Sportsmanship, Teamwork, Role Model, Determination, and take their Academics Seriously.

The Shea Boys XC team finished their season yesterday at the Class B Championship meet at Ponaganset High School. With many new runners, the team made a great deal of progress each week. Indoor track begins Nov. 27, new members are welcome!

Congrats to SHEA Raider Anthony! Anthony got accepted to the College Vision Black and Latino Males Fellowship at Brown University. Anthony applied for this fellowship in August and secured an interview that got him accepted. He will be part of monthly workshops based on diversity and college planning. With this fellowship he will receive a $1000 stipend and will be able to go on college visits around New England. Congratulations to Anthony.. We are so proud of you!

Congratulations to Zach Pinto for being awarded a Transform RI Scholarship. TRIS gives voice to the ideas of young people of color who want to make a difference in their community while also removing barriers to higher education.
Today, Shea’s monthly Speak Life and More open mic event let students express their individuality and creativity.
On May 8th 2023, Cam Seaver was awarded the Silver Scholar-Athlete Award from the Emo DiNitto/ Rhode Island Chapter National Football Foundation. The award is given annually to student-athletes with excellent grades who perform exceptionally on the field. Seaver has a 3.8 GPA and has a class rank of 17. Congratulations to Cam!
