Meet the Staff Monday!!! Kim Statzer is the Center Director at Brain Balance Peachtree City! She is a veteran educator with almost 30 years spent in the education world, specializing in working with children who have processing concerns. She has been with Brain Balance for two years and her son found great success going through the Brain Balance program! When not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and adult children. She loves to travel and going to Broadway plays!

Fun new imaginative play toys for our kiddos and their siblings to use in our lobby!!! Magna Tiles encourages creativity and creation!!

National Joy Day!! Choosing Joy EVERYDAY!!!!

Yummy Treat!!!!! Peanut Butter Energy Bites!!! Somedays you just need a quick and easy snack that you can grab on the go. This one provides protein and tastes great!

Ingredients
1 cup peanut butter (or other nut/seed butter of choice)
1/3 cup maple syrup
1/3 cup coconut flour
1/4 cup cocoa powder
Mix-ins options: Handful of sugar-free chocolate chips (such as Lily's), chopped nut of choice, shredded coconut

Directions
Mix all ingredients together in medium bowl.
Spoon into 1 in balls on sheet pan.
Chill and store in refrigerator.

Olivia Disney is our newest coach! She was recently married and just relocated to this area. A fun fact is that yes, she is actually related to Walt Disney! Olivia is quite artistic and would like to be able to incorporate her artistic talents into her career at some point. In her free time, she enjoys reading sci-fi books, visiting farmer's markets and thrift stores.

Meet our coach, Michelle. Michelle was a college intern at a different Brain Balance center before coming here as a coach. She just graduated with her bachelor's degree in psychology. She will begin going to Georgia State in the fall to obtain her master's degree in clinical mental health counseling. In her spare time, Michelle likes to read and do photography.

Family Fun Idea! Looking for an indoor place to have some fun when it is super-hot or super wet outside? Make the short drive to LaGrange and take your kiddos to J and W Playworld. This play is specifically designed with the littles in mind. Lots of great options to MOTOR, MOTOR, MOTOR! This helps build up that right hemisphere!

Wellness Wednesday! Looking for a great, fun, outdoor activity for your kiddos to enjoy this summer? We are throwing it back old school and bringing back jumping rope! Jumping rope can help improve right brain development which in turn helps improve impulse control, balance, coordination and emotional regulation!

Testimony Tuesday!! We love to hear testimonies from our parents on how the simplest things like going to the playground without a meltdown has gotten better. Sensory regulation and a decrease in an all or nothing mindset makes all the difference!!

Meet the staff Monday!!! Kerstina started working here at Brain Balance as a high school intern during her junior and senior year. After graduation, she began attending the University of Kentucky studying agricultural and biomedical technology. We love when she is home from college and can come help us in the center. Her career goal is to become a Physician's Assistant. In her free time, she loves to hike, thrift, and watch movies. Her favorite movie is Hunger Games. One interesting fact is that she is the youngest of seven children.
