I was just too unhappy with my last batch of Lavender + Milk, I had to try again. And it came out AH-MAZING! 🤩🤩 Added a little more variety with two shades of purple and just a touch of blue. Love it!!

I’ve been on a mission this week to create a nice light body lotion for the warmer months. 6 trials later and I’m still not there yet. Not giving up yet! I know the perfect lotion recipe is within my grasp! I know I could just go buy a pre-made lotion base and just add my own touches to it. But come on. Y’all know that’s not how I roll! Always scratch-made around here! I’m not one to settle for ‘good enough’!
Did you even know you could put eggs in soap?? Eggs are roughly 76% water, 12.5% protein, and 9.5% fat (carbs and such make up the remainder). This makes a great addition to soap and is quite similar to using milk in soap, but the higher protein content produces a soap with a slightly creamier lather and leaves skin (and hair!) feeling a little softer. This is why Sunny Side Up (restocking next month!) is my favorite shampoo since it’s gives that little extra softness to my usually dry hair. Have you tried egg soap before?
It’s been a few months since I made more Lotion Bars. Realized I need to get with my local beekeeper for more beeswax! I changed up the scent with this batch and went with my new favorite, a natural fragrance oil called Cucumber Waters, which is just the most calming and relaxing scent. I absolutely love it!

Another new item I’ve been working on for months! Shower Soothers!! It’s messy and it’s time consuming and downright overwhelming at times. But y’all. I really and truly love it! I love the science of the formulas and the creativity of the designs and having something I can pour my heart into over and over and over again! I may be a terrible sales person and have no idea how to tell you how great my products are. But I can tell you that if I don’t love it myself, I would never try to sell it to you. And even if you’ve tried someone else’s handmade body products and maybe weren’t impressed…I can assure you, they are not all the same! The number of times I heard “oh wow!” or “that’s so nice!” from people using my sample station this weekend just made my heart sing! 💗
