I mean....no one is calling Kevin Hart a failure.

Closing "The Butcher The Baker The Cheese Board Maker" was one of the most difficult decisions I’ve had to make. For a while, I felt like a failure, questioning the path I was on. But as I reflect, I’m redefining that chapter not as an end, but as a stepping stone toward something even better.
I’ve realized what I truly love about the restaurant business: the creativity of charcuterie, but even more so, the hospitality—the joy of creating a space where people feel at home and want to stay a little longer. That passion continues to drive me.
Though the restaurant doors are closed for now, I’m excited to be shifting my focus toward catering at a larger scale—an opportunity that allows me to bring that same sense of community and comfort to more people, while also growing my business in new ways. And maybe one day, I’ll try again with the full restaurant dream. 🌿
Funny enough, it’s not so different from my other work at StroTek. At the heart of both is my passion for making people’s lives easier, creating places where they feel welcome and cared for. Here’s to embracing new opportunities and growing along the way. 💪✨

You stay in the game by innovating. You lose the game by trying to force something that's not working.
