As I bring chapter 49 of my life to a close, I am taking a moment to reflect. This year has been a year of learning in my businesses. That being said, I am taking those lessons, and putting them into action. One of the ways that I am doing that is to let no opportunity pass me by. It is no secret that as empty nesters, my hubby and I love to travel. Having children on both coasts has given us "reasons" to include travel itineraries that we probably would have otherwise passed on. Neither New York nor Hollywood were on the top of any list I previously had until actually going. Having been able to travel frequently has afforded me opportunities to experience different cultures, gain a greater appreciation for nature, and a desire to share our adventures. Which brings me to the Mahalo Travel Group! Yes, we have made the decision to add travel to the scope of services that we offer. So, you can stay tuned to see where in the world we turn up next, or we can help you get out and see the world for yourself!

The enemy is busy... But GOD!

Good morning! There's only one you, and you do you best!

One of the things I pride myself on is providing the extraordinary. Flowers are so much more than decoration... they play a major role in providing guests with a sensory engaging experience. Last night was no exception. We were happy to provide flowers for The Event Place . I was asked several times, "so what kind of flower IS this????" Ladies and gents, meet the frilly edged tulip.

If you know me at all, you know I enjoy my moments first, then I share them. Beyond the flowers, drapes, and glitz of the events world, I'm a mama. The one that started THAT journey hit a milestone last weekend, and I could not be more proud than I am right now. Britt is EVERYBODY'S baby because, well, I started my family early. She's been with me the longest, and it took a SOLID village to raise her. IYKYK, but she is the epitome of walking through the fire, and not even smelling like smoke. This kid has a testimony of perseverance and determination that would bring most to their breaking point. She is beautiful. She is resilient. She is a queen in her OWN right. She is my firstborn daughter. She is a college graduate.
