Signs your child needs glasses π€
Squinting: If your child is squinting it may be a sign that they have a refractive error, which affects how well the eyes focus on an object/image. Your child squints in order to temporarily improve the focus and clarity of the object.
Tilting head or covering one eye: Your child might cover one eye or tilt their head to adjust the angle vision in an attempt to increase clarity. This could mean that the eyes are misaligned or that your child has amblyopia, also known as lazy eye.
Rubbing eyes excessively: If your child excessively rubs their eye that may indicate that your child is experiencing eye fatigue or strain. This could be a sign of allergic conjunctivitis or other vision problems.
Complaining of headaches or eye pain: Does your child complain about headaches or eye pain? If so, he or she may be overexerting their eyes in an effort to increase focus of blurred vision.
If your child is experiencing any of these, make sure to schedule an eye exam.
