Our team in Alabama was extremely excited to witness the Solar Eclipse today. However, some of us didn't plan well enough and forgot to think about how to protect our valuables during today's events.

Our team in Birmingham, AL recently responded to a home in the Homewood, AL area that was affected by storms causing tornadoes. The family experienced a tree crashing into their home, but fortunately, no one was hurt.

For over 36 dedicated years, Mike Bartlett has provided his expertise to the Alabama Fire and EMS landscape. Simultaneously serving as the EMS Chief of the Rocky Ridge Fire District, Chief Bartlett also serves as EMS Chief for the Alabama Association of Fire Chiefs. He tirelessly advocates for and safeguards the well-being of first responders and citizens across the state.

His finger is on the pulse of every EMS development in Alabama, ensuring that local heroes have the resources and legislation needed to excel.

Beyond titles and positions, he is a guardian, a mentor, and a living testament to the transformative power of service.

In a state where fire and EMS are the lifeblood of countless communities, Mike Bartlett stands tall. He’s not just a leader; he’s an embodiment of the very spirit that keeps Alabama safe and sound. His is a life poured into the flames of service, illuminating the path for future generations of heroes

Our team in Houston, TX helped us wrap up our 2023 Christmas Party Tour! We had a blast spending the afternoon at Home Run Dugout between the home runs, bad swings 🤣, good laughs, and amazing food we could not be more thankful for a team that works so hard to help keep Team Wilson one of the top teams in the country! Last night, our South Frisco/The Colony team had the opportunity to honor Training Corporal Alex Jones from the Celina Police Department for this year's Honor a Responder Award at the Frisco Bowl!

First responders from all over our communities are nominated for their acts of service and commitment to those they are entrusted to serve. Having been with the Celina PD for over nine years, Corporal Jones has trained and instructed every single officer that been hired at Celina PD since 2021. He has been essential in the success of their Field Training Program and has been responsible for coordinating training for all officers at the Celina Police Department.

Thank you Corporal Jones for the legacy you leave behind in each of these officers and congratulations for being the recipient of this year's Honor a Responder Award at the 2023 Frisco Bowl!

Our Dallas, TX Team showed why they are ready for the VR Sports League as our Christmas Party Tour continued this week! Nothing says team building activities like strapping on the VR headset and making sure only the strong survive 🎮👾

Disasters often call our team to distant communities, but this time, tragedy struck close to home. On Sunday, December 10th, Birmingham, AL faced severe storms and a direct hit from an EF1 tornado with winds exceeding 100 mph. It devastated the Scott Dawson Evangelistic Association (SDEA) headquarters in Homewood, AL, their newly donated space occupied for only a few weeks.

SDEA has been a cornerstone of our community, dedicated to leading others to Christ. Witnessing their loss, we knew we had to mobilize quickly. We understand that such devastating events can cripple an organization's efforts, and our team is committed to supporting SDEA and getting them back on their feet, so they can continue their vital mission of bringing people to Jesus.
