When I shoot homes and they have dogs around......You know I’m taking pictures of those fur-babies. 😍😍😍
I get a call 📞 on a Saturday afternoon and the voice on the other side says “Hi Kevin, we found you online and would like you to help us find a home 🏠 to buy in New Hampshire”.
Sure I say,” how did you get my info” I ask ❓
He says “We found you online and from reviews and information we could find, we would like to meet”.
He goes on to say 🗣️ “We will probably be very difficult to work with”.
When I ask him what makes them difficult, he says 🗣️ “We are very picky”.
My reply to that was “You should be picky, you’re buying your first home”‼️
That week, we schedule a day and time to sit, chat and go over what they are looking for. From that point……the search was on.
We would look at homes 🏚️, they would go to open houses and we made an offer on a house that didn’t work out 👎.
They found out first hand that the New Hampshire market was still VERY strong 💪.
Then it happened….they found the home that checked all of the boxes ✅. They wanted it.
It was now our job to make sure they got it ‼️
Offer was submitted and a couple rounds of negotiations…..and BAMMMMM 💥, offer accepted 👏.

YES.....even in this market we were able to do a home AND septic inspection.
This home sale was special to us. The sellers were friends and a past coworker of Danielle.
All was smooth up until closing day. Due to the storm we had, the movers were late ⏰.
2 hours late ‼️
Then they said it would take 2 hours to clear out the house 🏠 and it took them 4 hours.
The sellers needed to close on this home so they could buy their new home up north ⬆️
The buyers were nice enough to let the movers continue while still closing on the home.
All worked out 👏. Buyers were happy, sellers were happy and they got to close on their forever home up near north.

We were invited to be part of Whittier Tech’s “Credit For Life Credit Fair” 🏦
Students received a packet 📝 that included their credit score along with a budget. They would visit each booth which included life responsibilities like housing 🏡 , clothing 👕 , transportation 🚌 along with unforeseen costs.
They would write down each cost 📝 and at the end, they sat with a credit counselor to see if they lived within their set budget 💰. Some did 👍 and some didn’t 👎.
If you had money left over, you were good 👏. If you did not, you had to revisit booths and try to reduce your costs.
Whittier Tech had a local police officer 👮♀️ that would walk around and give tickets to students. These were one of the unforeseen costs that would come straight out of your budget.
Danielle and I were at the Housing Booth 🏠 . At our booth students had the option to pick their living situations and what that would equate to in rent.
One example was “Living In Moms Basement for $400 Per Month”. Other options were living in unsafe neighborhoods, living alone in a studio apartment or getting a roommate and splitting the costs 💵.
We would look at their credit scores and give real life advice on what their choices would be in real life.
This was such a great way to show our younger generation the realistic views of budgets and how your choices affect what you can afford.

These past couple of weeks, I have heard it more than normal. For example…
Last month I am texting 📲 back and forth with new buyers on a Sunday night. They say “we hate to bother you at night when you’re at home”. My reply 📣 YOU ARE NOT BOTHERING ME
Last week I am talking with a buddy of mine and he says “we’re thinking about buying an investment property 🏢 but we just don’t want to bother you. We’re not ready to pull the trigger yet” My reply 📣 YOU ARE NOT BOTHERING ME
Yesterday I am talking with some buyers that are searching in a tough price 💲 range and they say “we hate to bother you every weekend to see a house 🏠that we don’t know if we’ll even like”. My reply to them 📣 YOU ARE NOT BOTHERING ME
“I work when people are off”. That has been my phrase my entire real estate career. And when I say “You Are Not Bothering Me”, I mean that 👍.
If you work Monday through Friday and can't see or talk about houses until the weekend, then I work the weekends for you.
If you work nights and can’t see or talk about houses until early mornings, then I work early mornings for you.
If you work 9 - 5 and can’t see houses until after 5:30, then I work nights and weekends for you.
So the bottom line is YOU ARE NOT BOTHERING ME.
This is my career. It is ALL I do. I work for you when you need me to work for you.
Weekends ✅ Nights ✅ Mornings ✅, that is when I work.
