In this card, I recreated the Pearl Medallion in a Deco styling similar to the one on the original card.
Here, the Circle also contained the Shell, inscribed in the floor, as the Pearl levitated above.
The circle of electrical energy forms into the shell which now emanates from the Pearl he holds.
The circle became the Shell, with the idea of the Pearl as a halo behind her head.

Well, it said "Flying", so it needed wings.
Painting the Medallion seemed to be the most logical solution. Perhaps it's rising on a fountain of water, being Blue, and attached to Islands.
With each card, my goal was to integrate the Medallion into the art, blending it into the style already established.

In this one, I imagined if one of the purple blossoms on the left grew into an Audrey-type variety, one that liked jewelry - one that would scream "Gift me!" rather than "Feed me!"
This one didn't require much debate. The Dryad could wear the Medallion, and her leaves could be additional Emeralds.
Well, look at what's in the opening shot...
My 100th Arabian Night Set. This is the Largest UNAPPROVED / UNSPONSORED / UNCONTROLLED Magic The Gathering Channel in the world filled with Greed Monsters, Evil Investors, and ....3.69...
Trying to find a way to work in the Medallion was a real challenge on this one. To have made the Fairies a necklace would have been nothin more than a silver stripe and green dot.
So, it's a chair, or a flying carpet...
Why have the spider wear the Medallion when it can be the Medallion?
It was a Bonus to be able to "break the space" (an art term for extending the image outside the described boundaries of a picture). That's the Spider's "snack" dangling over the edge.
The Emerald Medallion either rising from the water or appearing over it.
