Greeting To all my GMG Fitness members and followers.
It is with great pleasure and excitement that I announce the resumption of our services at GMG Fitness. We will re-open for business on August 1st, 2022. We will begin with resumption of personal training sessions and add additional classes and services as we progress through August. During my down time, I have been looking at new and innovative ways to help you reach your fitness goals. I will be updating the website and booking portal with some new information, so please take a moment to review these updates effective August 1st, 2022. Closing the gym was one of the hardest decisions I had to make, knowing that I was disrupting the progression of your fitness programs. For that, I sincerely apologize. The anticipation of being able to resume my sessions with you and being a part of your fitness goals was a major motivation during my recovery. Let me take the opportunity again to thank you all for the well wishes, they were truly appreciated. Please take a moment to reach out to me next week and let me know your availability, so I can begin scheduling August 2022 sessions.

Letโs talk a little bit about stretching and what stretching does to your body.
Stretching Keeps the muscles flexible, strong, and healthy. We need that flexibility to maintain a range of motion in our joints. Without it, the muscles shorten and become tight. When itโs time for the next workout session, they are weak and unable to extend all the way.

You have been asking and we have been listening. Indoor Cycle Classes are back. Starting Sat March 5th, 2022. We will be re introducing our cycle schedule, Wednesdays at 6:30 pm and Saturdays at 8:00 am. We will continue to evaluate the needs of our clients and will add additional classes as we progress. We are also working on some awesome new training plans and cardio classes to be introduced later this month. It's time to put COVID behind us and move forward with our 2022 fitness goals. As the year 2021 draws to an end, I would like to take a moment on behalf of the GMG Fitness Team to thank you for your support and encouragement through another very challenging year. We will not lament the challenges we all faced in the past years; those stories are already well told. We would like to inspire hope and encourage you all to continue to drive forward with the hope for a better tomorrow. Let us move into 2022 knowing that only by our own persistence and commitment can we create the changes that we want. The challenges of the coming year already appear to be as relentless as the past. As we continue to slowly introduce additional classes to our schedule, we are happy to announce that beginning Wednesday October 13th, 2021 we will be offering cycle classes at 6:30 pm. Hello Friends, as you know, we at GMG fitness are ardent supporters of the the breast cancer cause. Breast cancer awareness month began Oct 1st, 2021. As some of you may recall, last year we launched a collection drive and donated and additional $2500.00 to the cause. This year we have committed to donate all proceeds from our October cycle classes to the Breast Cancer Foundation. The leg press is a unique movement. For an exercise with quite a short range of motion, it stimulates the quads, glutes and hamstrings to their maximum potential. This reduces any strain placed on the lower back and keeps it on the glutes.

Leg press is great for beginners as they help you prepare for other alternative workouts such as squats. Starting off with lower weight and higher reps is best for beginners to build their endurance and strength.

No Challenge No Change
Welcome to GMG Fitness. My name is Georgette and Iโve been in the fitness business for over 15 years. While Iโve focused mainly on indoor cycling, I am fully versed and certified in multiple areas of fitness coaching. I am now forty-six years old and realize that as we age our bodies react differently, and results are much harder to achieve. Iโve therefore spent the last two years studying and perfecting group cardio and fitness coaching techniques that work for more mature women. With my infinite energy and determination, I find joy in motivating others to challenge themselves to reach their fitness goals.
Now, I know there are many fitness programs out there. Some offer a fast track to weight loss, while others promise that perfect body, we all know and want in literally a week. But I can tell you straight from the horseโs mouth, there is no shortcut or magical pill that will produce meaningful and lasting results. In my world, you have to commit to a plan, eat right, be consistent with your program and challenge yourself. And when you have achieved your goal, you must consistently maintain it.
I recommend my clients find an hour of time three to four times a week to dedicate to their fitness goals. Of course, I know this is easier said than done. Itโs not easy to juggle work, a relationship, children, and still find time to exercise. You may say that this is unrealistic or impossible. You may say that your daily ten-minute walk will be enough. But thatโs where I come in.
I guarantee that if youโre looking for meaningful change, you need to challenge yourself, and thatโs what Iโm here for. Allow me to create that challenge for you. Allow me to push you and test your limits. Allow me to help you see those results youโve been yearning for. By the way of my specifically designed cardio events and personal training, I promise you that I will inspire you, mentor you, and challenge you.
