Hello Attitude family! Happy “Reopening” day! We understand many have anxiety and fears regarding coming to the salon. Our plan to reopen takes into account all of those fears combined with economic concerns. If you are comfortable with the guidelines we have set below, we welcome you and look forward to serving you. Please continue reading to see our New Attitude Policies and Procedures.

Please understand we are rebooking hundreds of appointments and it may not be easy to reach us right away via phone, or find a spot within our availability. We are not accepting walk-ins. All appointments will be scheduled and confirmed ahead of time. You can always send us a message on Facebook or leave a voice message, and we will get back to you as soon as we possibly can.

WHEN YOU ARRIVE
* Please be on time. Please bring your own mask. Per the Florida State Board of Cosmetology, all “clients should wear face masks to the extent possible while receiving services.” If you do not have your own mask, we may have to decline services.
* When you arrive, please stay in your car with the air conditioning on, and call us at 954-252-7627 to let us know you’ve arrived. Once we are ready and the station is sanitized, we'll notify you and greet you at the door. We are diligently working to sanitize all touchpoints between every client.

OUR SAFETY PROTOCOL
* Please stay home if you are or have been ill. Please call us if you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment.
* We ask that you limit the belongings you bring into the salon but recommend you bring your own bottled drink/snack for longer appointments.
* We only service clients one on one. At this time we will not allow additional guests to enter the salon if they are not being serviced.
* All stations, tools and shampoo bowls are sanitized with CDC-approved disinfectants between each guest.
* Each client will be given a fresh cape (as always) to wear during services.
* All linens and towels are laundered after a single use.
* All hard surfaces like door handles, reception counters, bathroom are disinfected hourly, at a minimum, based on traffic.
* There is no waiting permitted in the lobby areas. Clients are to call the salon upon arrival. We will notify you when your provider is ready for your appointment.
* We are now offering contactless payments at checkout (Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc.) and texted or emailed receipts.
* Only those receiving services are allowed on the cutting floor. Parents to minors should wait in their cars, friends and family are not permitted at this time.
* If you would like to make a retail purchase, please ask for assistance to limit contact with retail shelves.
* REBOOKING: In order to further minimize clients’ time in the salon, we will not be booking future appointments at checkout at this time. Please call us after your visit to book your next appointment.

With the new guidelines and having been closed for almost two months, we have limited appointment availability. We are diligently working to open our books and stagger appointments to allow social distancing in the salons, while adhering to the requirements set by the State of Florida. Please be patient. We look forward to serving you, safely.

Reopening update 5/15/20 - important information regarding rescheduling and booking procedures

• Our reception team and/or service providers will be contacting all clients who had appointments that were cancelled due to the closure. If you had an appointment scheduled during the closure (between March 24th and May 16th), or had to cancel an appointment in the days immediately prior to that, rest assured, we will not forget about you! You are the first ones on our list to get an appointment.

• We will then begin contacting everyone who has reached out during the closure and over the last few days.

• For customers that have appointments already scheduled from May 19th onwards, we will be making every effort to keep these appointments, the exception being appointments with times that must be changed due to a service providers’ schedule modification/alternate return date.

• For customers with standing appointments, we would also like to keep those appointments as is (subject to your service provider’s schedule). We ask that if you have one coming up in the next few weeks that you keep on your current schedule as we are unable to rebook your entire set of appointments.

• We kindly ask that you have patience with us during this time as we make these calls. If you would like to request an appointment and have not already done so, please leave a message with your name, phone number and the name of your service provider. You can also message us via Facebook messenger with the same information.

• Please note that not all service providers will be returning on May 19th, and some will be working on a modified schedule going forward. If you have not heard from either your provider or one of our receptionists by May 20th, feel free to contact us by phone or Facebook messenger.

We’re so excited to announce that we will be opening for business this Tuesday, May 19th! We will be taking calls for appointments starting tomorrow (Friday May 15th).

We will be operating under the guidelines set by local and state governments as well as guidance from the CDC, OSHA and other relevant authorities. We will be posting a list of the new procedures prior to opening to the public, please check our page for updates.
