At Aquamotion Swim school we teach Water-Safety Survival starting at 6 months old. We teach back floating as the main survival skill, however there are other skills children will learn that are also very important. Such as treading water, swimming to the closest surface, and crawling the wall to exit the pool or to get to the nearest stairs. All these steps are achieved in classes, however, because every child is different, each student achieves learning a different skill first, until they master all of them. Some kids will float before holding the wall, some will crawl along the wall before putting their faces in the water, some will jump in comfortably but will struggle to float, and this is all part of the learning process and there’s nothing wrong with that. 😊🙌

Being a mom is so complex, that it cannot be put into words. Being a mom is to forget what time we need to go to bed, forget how to have a full night of sound sleep, is to eat our food cold to make sure our children will eat at least one spoon of their spilled plate, is to feel their pain but put a strong face to support them, is to hear their crying, but put a smile on our face to comfort their feelings, is having multiple hands and arms to carry them and their belongings around, wherever we go. Is to sleep in the car from exhaustion while waiting in the pick-up line at their school, is to love unconditionally, and yet be strong to never let the love overshadow a bad behavior, is to be tough when needed, because our goal is to raise good, educated, and caring human beings! Our actions will reflect on their character, it must be observed to be the best role model possible
