Rosacea is a long-term inflammatory skin condition that causes reddened skin and a rash, usually on the nose and cheeks.

How does it look like?
Key symptoms are facial redness with swollen red bumps and small visible blood vessels. As well as facial redness, there may be red bumps and pus-filled spots. In some cases, the skin thickens and may become bumpy, particularly on the nose.

What to avoid:
- Avoid rubbing or scrubbing your face
- Avoid any exfoliants or harsh soaps
- Do not use extreme temperatures such as cold or hot water (try room temp instead)
- Avoid steamed baths
- Avoid alcohol: this includes alcoholic drinks and skincare products with alcohol.
