I just finished reading How to Make Disease Disappear by and I’ve decided this will be the source I point people to when they ask for health advice.
Managing your health requires a multi-pronged approach and Dr. Chatterjee does a great job breaking down each pillar into actionable steps. As a professional in this space, I know his work is thoroughly researched but he doesn’t overwhelm the reader with science. It’s simple and yet powerful in its potential to improve your health and life.

This spirit is at the core of our little gym and it was great to get out and march forth with some members this weekend. I’m grateful to live somewhere with plenty of access to nature and extra appreciative of the early spring sunshine we got this weekend!
Do you want to improve your shoulder mobility?
Add in these stretches a few times a day using a door frame or a squat rack next time you’re in the gym.
1. Shoulder extension
2. Lat stretch
3. Pec stretch
4. Static hang
Spend 20-30 seconds in each position and breathe comfortably. These stretches will help you maintain or improve the full range of motion of your shoulders.

So fun having the Lion Den from the local Cub Scout pack in last night for their physical fitness outing.
These guys learned the importance of exercise, different ways to move their bodies, and different forms of resistance.
Lots of fun was had running, jumping, climbing and picking up weights and carrying them around. Sounds like a good workout to me!

Youth Athletic Development schedule for this week!
This program is designed for kids to develop fundamental movement skills. We work on coordination, balance, and body control. They’ll learn basic exercises and progress them as their technique improves.
