4 wheels and Freedom

I have looked for this, my whole life, and finally found it!! The end of the rainbow. I was afraid at first some little leprechaun was gonna jump out behind the bushes and kill me, but he did not and we’re good to go.! Sadly enough there was no pot of gold!!

I am a single mom of 6 rugrats, 2 are grown and have their own families and 4 are still at home.. this year has been very hard on us with my job being slow (sales have been down for awhile now) also, loss of work due to tragedy. I’ve been barely scraping by, but this month I’m short on rent, 2 of my kids have birthdays just before Christmas and Christmas itself isn’t looking very promising. I’ve never asked anyone (except my mom and the girls’ Aunt Patsy twice) for anything, I don’t receive assistance and everything we have, I have worked tirelessly to make happen…I just can’t seem to pull out of this seemingly growing hole and pride has kept me from asking for help,… however someone at work told me that if you need help, just ask.. so, I took a big gulp and swallowed my pride for the sake of my family and I’m asking.. if anyone can help with anything, I would be forever grateful! Well .. let us turn your nightmares, wishful thoughts, great (at the time) ideas, wishing they were still in high school, “never doing that again” and “yeah right, what was I thinking” items… into 4 wheels and Freedom..

Rest easy daddy! You have always been my hero! I am glad that I was able to tell you that while you were here with us. There will not be a day that goes by that I will not think of you and how blessed and how proud I am to have been your daughter! Thank you for all of the love you have given all of us. Thank you for teaching us how to give freely of ourselves and of our love without expecting anything in return and showing us what a real man and father is supposed to be. My heart is forever grateful! I love you so much! Please give Jeff, Sam, Samantha, dad, uncle bud, Timmy, Bressler, both sets of grams and paps, and everyone else huge hugs and kisses from us.

I’m tired of asking for prayers but here we go again!:( my dads in the hospital and not doing very well. Please pray for my dad AND my mom. And the rest of our family. This year has to be the worst year in history for our family. My heart is broken.

My heart hurts so bad and tears can’t be stopped…life is so beyond fragile and short. We never know what moment will be our last lived, what words will be our last heard, what emotion will be our last felt. Please know that my Brother Jeffrey Young is a kind and gentle,soft spoken, forgiving, hard headed, stubborn, loving, memorable, hard working, smart, funny, much loved and beyond loving individual who is going to be giving the gift of life to someone else today at 2 pm. We take him off of life support at 1pm. If everyone could say a prayer please that the hour in between for Jeff goes without pain or discomfort and with peace, bravery, and love, and that the hours and years to follow for the recipients to go without complications, and bring years of happiness and good health to the persons about to receive his greatest gifts, and all of us missing Jeff comfort knowing that in his death, he saved a life and he is a hero. Love has no boundaries and a heart though broken can still be full. I love you little brother! Always! Thank you for loving me back!
