Turkey Tom, one of our resident macaw-guards, has passed. Tom loved peanuts, gobbling “talking” to guests and volunteers, and being told how handsome he was. (As if anyone would tell him he wasn’t a handsome turkey.) When he wasn’t on guard duty, he enjoyed running and chasing particular volunteers; he had to make sure to keep those girls on their toes.

In memory of our sweet, handsome Tom, enjoy a few peanuts and these pictures of him from his super model days.
