Everyone calls Patt Maney something different. Veterans called him General. Attorneys call him Judge. His constituents call him Representative. He’s the only man I know whose resume includes a private audience with the Pope!

Last night, I was honored to attend his Distinguished Eagle Scout Award ceremony. This award has been given only 2,000 times in the history of the Boy Scouts of America. Presidents, astronauts, and cultural icons like Mike Rowe (Dirty Jobs) are listed among its recipients.

While, as a lawyer, I usually default to calling Rep. Maney, “Judge;” last night, I was honored just to be able to call him a friend.

Since 2024 is likely the last time I put my name on a ballot, I did some math. Over the course of 5 elections, the voters of HD 2 have cast 139,250 votes to say “I trust Alex Andrade to represent me in the Florida House of Representatives.”

That number represents 139,250 covenants I’ve made to uphold my oath and to stay true to the values I espouse.

Over 5 elections, there have also been 92,175 times that someone decided to cast their vote for one of my opponents.

What I hope everyone who cast one of those 231,425 votes has witnessed in me is someone who has, in fact, upheld their oath and stayed true to the values I espouse.

I’ve been blessed to have had the opportunity to earn your vote and your trust these past 6 years. I’ve been blessed to answer the phone when you’ve called with a question or a need, regardless of your voting record.

I’d be honored to earn your vote one last time, so I can get back to work with President Trump in the White House again. These next two years will be critical, and I don’t plan on wasting a single second of them! 🇺🇸

The fact that major insurers like USAA are committed and confident in our market and that insurers are beginning to reduce their rates is a good sign for the coming years.

While I’m grateful Pensacola is not in Milton’s path, I know many of our friends and family members are.

These principles are simple. They represent the values of the vast majority of my district. I’ve upheld these principles and my commitment to my constituents since I was first elected, and I’ll continue to defend and fight for these principles in my final two years in office. As you receive your ballots in the mail, or visit early voting locations later this month, I’d be honored to receive your vote!

As the only conservative candidate in my race, last night’s debate was fun to watch. I can’t wait to support Trump as he moves back into the White House and we get back to work making America great again!

Tonight I had the opportunity to compare and contrast my conservative record vs (1) the dishonest platitudes of one candidate who hides their liberal party affiliation, and (2) an honest to goodness Democrat who just happens to disagree with me.

Voters got to see how condescending and misleading some candidates can be, and also got to see how two people who respect the voters can have a friendly and respectful debate.

I’m so grateful to have had this opportunity and this format tonight. I know that I’m not alone when I say I’m SICK of candidates lying to voters, and I had fun exhibiting what thoughtfulness and integrity looks like compared to meaningless platitudes.
