We can't wait for this awesome event with Pensacola Police Department and CDAC Behavioral Healthcare, Inc. which is coming up August 6th at Roger Scott Athletic Complex! Look for the Play Pensacola flags and visit our booth to learn more about events, outdoor Pursuits, volunteering, and After School Programs with our funding and program partners Escambia Children's Trust, CDAC, Pensacola MESS Hall, and the Pensacola Sings project by Pensacola Children's Chorus! We can't decide if summer got run over by a steamroller or flew away with the Blues, but it doesn't seem like we should only be a couple weeks away from the start of the school year. However, if our eavesdropping into neighborhood and PTA groups tells us anything it's that we are in the season of school supply lists, teacher and homeroom assignments, and arguments over first day 'fits.

But, don't let these last couple weeks of summer break be a bust. Put in for a day of PTO and take the kids to the beach or the museum. Get yourself a new pack of pens when you're shopping for the kids supplies. And make a plan to join us for our 2024 National Night Out Touch-a-Truck and Police K9 Demo.

We'll be taking over the football field at Roger Scott Athletic Complex beginning at 5:00 PM, Tuesday August 6th. Come see a host of public safety and service trucks and hang around to watch the K9s of the Pensacola Police Department sniff, search, and soar. Our partners at CDAC Behavioral Healthcare, Inc. have gathered a host of community organizations and vendors who will also be on hand.

The last thing we want to have to do is close a pool down in the middle of the summer. Unfortunately, that’s what we’re doing at the Roger Scott Pool, but just temporarily. Our pool pump decided now’s the time to stop working. 😪

We’re doing our best to get a replacement as soon as possible. We hope to reopen Saturday, but be sure to check in here for any updates or delays. ⏰️

OK, so hear us out. 😞No one is more bummed of this cancellation than Goldmine Band and us. Due to some unforeseen circumstances (nope, not weather oddly enough), we are overwhelmingly sorry to call tomorrow night's show.

It can be argued that luck wasn't on our side for some of the season, BUT we will never forget how lucky we are to have such supportive and understanding friends like you. We did everything we could behind the scenes to bring a show to you tomorrow, but it just wasn't in the stars.

As we end our season, we encourage you to check out the MANY excellent outdoor events throughout the area.
