A great day for Perdido Key and Escambia County! Today we celebrated the completion of the Perdido Key Multi-Use Path with a ribbon-cutting celebration.
This project is an accumulation of hard work for many years and it is great to finally have it completed! It was great to hear from county leaders including District One Commissioner Jeff Bergosh, Escambia County Commissioner, District 1, Wes Moreno, and Chips Kirschenfeld.
The Perdido Key Drive Multi-Use Path spans approximately 6.5 miles from the Florida-Alabama state line to the Theo Baars Bridge. This addition to Perdido Key offers a safer and easier option for pedestrians and bicyclists to explore Perdido Key!
Thank you so much to Pat McClellan for hosting Chamber staff, county staff, and community supporters to an appreciation luncheon at Flora-Bama Yacht Club.
