DYK: A Flight Suit Formal flight is a social event where military aviators and personnel wear their flight suits instead of traditional formal attire like dress uniforms or civilian formal wear. It's a more casual yet still formal event within the military context, allowing participants to celebrate and socialize while maintaining a degree of military professionalism.
2024 Texan Rendezvous naval aviator attendees should wear flight suits that are thematically styled or adorned with squadron paraphernalia. Civilian guests are welcome to dress consistent with squadron theme and attire, or they may elect to wear business casual or formal attire.
The goal is to accentuate squadron spirit and naval aviation culture in a fun and tasteful manner! The more original, entertaining and bespoke the better!
