Two things we want you to know:
1. Let’s start with a round of applause for the Pensacola Blue Wahoos staff for their exemplary client service to us for the past 11 years!

We have hosted this event at the stadium from day one and found a true partner in them. They are one of the reasons why we have been able to give away $780,000+ to charities.

2. As we have grown, conversations have been held about outgrowing the venue.

Because you are awesome and continue to buy more tickets each year, you have helped grow us right out of the stadium.

Our dilemma? How do we grow the event, raise more funding for charity, and continue to provide a stellar experience for ticket holders?

With the Pensacola Wahoos blessing, we searched for a venue that would accommodate the fans of BBQ, align with our core values just like the Wahoos, and provide the opportunity for us to contribute even more back to our community.

We also wanted a venue that met the needs of cook teams.

It is a LARGE ask of someone to invest their own money, take off days from work, prep for several days, pack up equipment, unload it/set it up, work all day serving ticket holders, and then pack it back up to travel back home.

We had to find a place that also accommodated these unsung heroes of Eggfest as well as the Wahoos did.

We choose the Hadji Shrine. It is 33 acres with 12,600 square feet of event space that accommodates Pensacola Eggfest and our future growth.

Also, their mission aligns perfectly with ours – they are committed to providing care for children and families in need.

So the Pensacola Eggfest Team is saying again- THANK YOU to the Pensacola Blue Wahoos! You are the REAL MVP!
