These ladies never cease to amaze us! They continuously show all of us their fight, heart and toughness in every match. We battled for 70 minutes through adversity from start to finish. We dominated possession all night in our League game vs RSL and found ourselves down by a goal. We scored with 1 minute remaining by a beautiful finish from our midfielder #6 Ella M. This was one heck of game by our ladies! They never gave up and never stop believing in each other. Amazing performance by all 17 of them! Phoenix Rising DF is fighting for the top spot of NPL Champions league!! This amazing photo captures the bond of this team! ⚽️🔥

2022/2023 State League II Champions!! What an incredible season for this first year club team. Our girls really did ! ❤️⚽️❤️

Yesterday, we won our 4th league game of the spring season, 2-0. The girls played unstoppable team soccer, maintaining control the majority of the game. Our player of the game is offense threat, Gabby! Gabby played incredible soccer with amazing ball control, smart decision making, physicality and quick footwork. It’s no surprise she had our first goal of the game, driving her team to victory! Our girls will battle it out for 1st place in our final league game March 18th!

Our first league game of January was a win 5-0. Our girls played a beautiful game of soccer. Our player of game game goes to our defender, Breylee! She is always consistent with shutting down an offense. Her soccer IQ is incredible - giving her the ability to cut off the pass, anticipate the through ball, and catch the opposition off guard! We are ready to double down tonight with a win for league game two! ⚽️

Day 2 is in the books! It was another hard fought day going against some of our toughest competition yet. 4 of our girls were out with injury, leaving minimal subs. We battled it out with the #1 team in the state, holding them to only 1 goal. They may have been double our size but our girls refused to be intimidated. They played in sync with one another, connecting passes, making saves and digging deep when they were running on fumes! Our sidelines cheered them through until the end - making sure they knew how proud we were of all of them. These ladies are fueled for excellence, ready to execute next weekend in our double header league games! Onto the next! ⚽️

Our girls are back at it!! Day 1 of the CCV tournament resulted in a draw in game one and a tough loss in game two. All of our girls came to battle but our midfielder, Lola, and our defender, Kylie, both played lights out. In game one, it didn’t matter if Lola was at center mid or on the outside, she was always in the right spot, attacking the ball and making a play! Game two may have been a loss but Kylie held down the defense. She came away with monster plays - the perfect stop, sweeping clears and huge saves! One thing is certain, these competitors will again tomorrow! Onto day 2, ladies!!

What a wonderful weekend, celebrating Christmas with our incredible team! 🎄 Our girls made care packages for the homeless, shared Secret Santa gifts with one another and had enough giggles to last a life time. Happy Holidays, everyone!

What a weekend!! We made it to the championship game at Kick for the Cure but fell short with a 0-2 loss today. The girls battled all weekend winning game one, 2-1, and game two, 1-0. A special shout-out to our goalie, Bolade, who had some of the most incredible saves! She commands her defense, calling them into position, and always has the perfect block at the most crucial moment. Wins are the best but losses bring us growth. Keep your heads up, Rising! The next one is yours! ⚽️

Our girls played their last league game yesterday, ending the fall season with a 7-0 win! Our “Player of the Game” goes to our right forward, Gabby, and our left forward, Stella! Gabby opened the game with our first goal and sealed the deal in the second half with our final goal. Stella decided to play the game of her life scoring 3 goals to come away with the hat-trick! Overall, another incredible performance by our team to secure the top spot in our division! Kick for the Cure tournament is up next. Let’s go get it! ⚽️

Looking at the U13 CHAMPIONS of the Phoenix Rising Fall Classic. Wow, that was a hard fought tournament! Our “Player of the Game” goes to our coaches, Kris and Todd. These two are so dedicated, constantly pushing and growing our players to be the best version of themselves. We walked away champs this weekend because we were the better coached team - with their energy willing the girls to victory!! They deserve this championship just as much as our girls! Congrats, Rising! You did it….again!

Game 2 was an intense showdown against our toughest competition yet! There was no way to pick a player of the game. Every single one of our girls left it all out on the field. We were able to come away with the win, 2-1, against a team that was taller, faster and stronger because our girls played for each other! They let their love for the game and love for one another shine through, stealing the win! Girls, keep celebrating every goal and every save together, it’s what propels you to excellence! Onto tomorrow! ⚽️

Our girls kicked off the Phoenix Rising Fall Classic tournament with a win, 2-0, against PRFC Scottsdale. Our ”Player of the Game” goes to our tremendous goalie, Bolade! We were up 1-0 in the second half with only 10 minutes left to play when our opposition had a break away ball leaving Bolade 1v1 with their striker. Bolade saved the day with a finger tip block to push the ball up over the net at the last second. It was an incredible play! Bolade is our steady force, always quiet at practice, but then turns it on at game time and executes the perfect level of grit to push her team! What a start to the weekend, girls! Let’s go get another win today! ⚽️

League game 4 was a win 2-0! Our “Player of the Game” award goes to our two wingers, Stella and Ayla. They are the fastest on the field at any given moment! Stella was phenomenal on the left, dominating with her speed. Whenever you think she’s reached her max potential she always finds another gear! She sealed our win with a solid left boot to score a perfect goal with only minutes remaining. Ayla played lights out, using her quick feet and playing larger than life to battle for every ball. Her speed and soccer IQ consistently generates offense, setting her team up for success! We are ready for another incredible team performance, next weekend, at the Phoenix Rising Fall Classic. Let’s go girls! ⚽️

Happy Coaches Day (a day late) to our 2 favorite guys! Coach Kris and Coach Todd pour their hearts into this team - always encouraging, teaching and pushing our girls. Every goal is like Christmas and every win is Disneyland! They dedicate so much of their time and energy. Thank you coaches, for being the best!

Game 3 was a tough loss for our girls, 0-1. Even though we didn’t get the win, Olivia our central defender, played lights out! Her first touch is unmatched, she wins every ball out of the air, and always gets the ball to the outside. Olivia is one of our youngest players but she shows up in a big way! We learned a few lessons today but you can’t keep us down. Onto the next, girls! ⚽️

We walked away from game 2, with a goal scored in the last 10 seconds, giving us our second win, 1-0! Our players of the game are Tatum Martin and Aly Eicher! Tatum is our right defender who effectively shut down her side! She had an amazing game with her ability to breakdown, close off the pass and get the ball up the sideline. She’s one of the smallest on the field but she is mighty. She’s our TMART! Aly, our one of a kind goalie, went to work today! She is ruthless in the box with the fiercest mentality. She saved the day with dives and slides, stopping any chance of a goal. This girl is arguably the best goalie in the league and we are happy she’s ours! Great game, Rising! Let’s get that W again tomorrow! ⚽️

Our 1st league game was another incredible performance by our girls with a 6-0 win!! An amazing team effort made it impossible to chose 1 player of the game. Kooper, our right defender, consistently shut down any offense on her side, even taking on a few 2v1 battles. She is our steady player who always manages to win the ball, no matter the size or grit of her oppnents! Camdyn, our other dominant center mid, came up huge today with 2 goals scored! She is ferocious on the field with her ball control and movement. Overall, a fantastic team effort with another shut out win in the books. Onto the next!

Phoenix Rising Cup Champions! 🏆 What a beautiful team effort by our girls to end the weekend with 4 shut outs, not allowing a single goal all tournament. These girls worked together, moved the ball, supported and rallied around each other. Watch out - this is an amazing group of young ladies who are just getting started!!!

Game 3 was another shut out win against AYSO United, 2-0. It was scorching hot but our girls rallied together to collect that win. Our player of the game is our defensive center back, Lily, who not only shut down our oppositions offense but scored our first goal from mid field with a booming kick that had the perfect bounce over the goalie’s head!! Lily is incredible at managing her defense, proven with 3 shut out wins so far, but she is also an All-Star teammate who is unassuming with her generous and sweet personality. Onto our final game! Let’s close it out ladies!

Game 2 against AZSC was a dominate performance by our girls with another win 6-0! Our player of the game was one of our insanely talented center midfielders, Tatum Farmer! She ruled the game with her quick feet winning every 1v1, 2v1, 3v1, and at one point a 4v1. That doesn’t even include her soccer IQ and amazing through balls to our forwards and wings. She was pure talent on the field this morning! We are ready for game 3 tonight!

Our Rising Girls kicked off the Phoenix Rising Cup with a huge win 2-0 against CCV Stars! It was such a team effort that it was almost impossible to pick a player of the game, that’s why we have two! Gabby, our incredible defensive player of the game was instrumental in holding down the shut out win. Her ability to stop the ball, win it out of the air and command the backfield was outstanding! Jillian, our offensive player of the game scored one of our goals and dominated the offensive side of the field! She will push through any defense and she never gives up! Way to go girls! Now let’s go get another W!

Carlsbad Classic photo dump. We may not have come home with the cup but these girls were relentless! What an amazing weekend to bond, creating momentum and chemistry that translated onto the field from game 1 to game 3. We are coming back for you, SoCal! Next year is ours!
