Mystic Moon Dice & Crafts
I'm excited to share my polyhedral dice and other creations with you. Store link coming soon.
I finished up these shadowy babies for myself and my shadow monk character in my current campaign π I chose blue because that is the color of the monk class, and the shadows inside symbolize her ability to become one with the shadows when needed. These were a challenge for me, but I'm really happy with how they came out. They do have some sparkle, but those are hard to capture on camera. Hopefully they'll roll well for me. IYKYK π

Here's another question for ya. When I post updates on the future, would you rather see me:
1. Create albums by DATE (ie: "Shop Update 3/3/23)?
*This would result in less album updates on your timeline
2. Continue doing what I'm doing and updating items by TYPE (ie: solid dice, themed dice, signs, etc)?
Back to dice making for the time being π
I'm happy to share my first official series as a dicemaker: dice inspired by Disney rides! First up is Space Mountain ππ’
These came out of the pot a little soft, which could be for a variety of reasons, but fingers crossed these cure okay π€
Anyone have ideas on clear sticker paper that I can print solid designs on? π€
I'm super excited to share the next step of my resin journey! I found this design on Etsy, bought the materials, drilled the holes, and made myself a shelf for my pressure pot! This will give me more organized space in the pot for molds and a way to place open flat molds with less risk of making a mess. I have silicone mats coming tomorrow which will be cut up and placed on the shelves to allow for easy clean up from the inevitable spillover from my dice molds.
Thanks for everyone who voted in the poll of what to do with these wonky D6s. Making them into keychains won by a landslide, so I finished up the polishing process and got them inked up last night. I think they turned out pretty cute!
There's only two of these in the whole wide world, so please let me know if you're interested. I'm asking $8 for them individually or $15 for both π
Edit: Only one left!
Any purchases for the foreseeable future will be going toward buying a polishing tumbler which will cut down time on the polishing process by hand, letting me work on more sets at the same time and getting them done sooner π
These glitter glasses are a fun and sparkly way to drink your favorite wine after a hard day's work. Fully customizable, so let's talk.

Now that I've delivered the dice, I'm happy to share the first prototype for the packaging I'd like to do moving forward π I used tissue paper, but it will be a lot easier to do with actual wrapping paper, so I'm back to the drawing boards a little bit, but I'm very pleased with this!
Ever wonder, "Surely not every dice set comes out perfect every time...right? What happens to the imperfect ones?"
Watch to find out π
Happy holidays and belated Merry Christmas! I entirely meant to share these on Sunday and the day got away from me.
These were the idea I had in mind when I told myself, "Jessie, you can't make more dice until you've sanded and polished the nine sets you already have to do." But then I made a set for someone for their birthday and, like, I was already adding one to the pile to complete, so what's two, right? This idea would NOT leave my head, and they came out exactly how I pictured. I know what to do differently next time to make them better, but I'm so, so happy with how these came out.

Want to see something cool but really annoying? I bought this beautiful emerald green alcohol ink that I was so excited about because I don't have a good green.
Well...
π¨Spoiler alertπ¨: I still don't.
The final polish makes such a difference. Look at that β¨shineβ¨
How I Make Dice part βοΈ
I look forward to sharing more steps of my process and products in the future!
I wanted to make a video that showed the labor intensive and lengthy finishing process on dice!
Part two up tomorrow βοΈ
Y'ALL.

I am completely in love with these π These came out exactly how I envisioned them. I know some changes I want to make if/when I make these again, but I am LOVE.
Okay, I know, I KNOW, I said I couldn't make any more until I finished the unfinished sets I still haven't touched, but I was mixing resin for a Christmas present tomorrow anyway, so I decided to do an experiment with my snow dice in the blanks π€
I always get so excited about the designing and the making that I forget there's a lengthy five step finishing process that comes after that which leaves me with huge batches to finish before I can design and make again π Anyhoo, I know what I'm doing in my free time for the next couple weeks at least!
Just a sampling of what it looks like to pull molds from the pressure pot, plus a fresh look at those blanks from last night! The D10 and percentile die obviously need to be fixed, but the fix should be quick and easy π
Whoops π¬ Easily fixable with more resin, but I can honestly say I've never done this in the two and half years I've been making dice π
Experimental dice with glittered blank inserts coming tomorrow π
Fun fact: 'Blanks' is referred to polyhedral dice with no numbers on them. They are slightly smaller than regular numbered dice and fit inside a numbered dice perfectly. This allows dicemakers to decorate blanks in a way that one could not otherwise put inside a regular numbered dice mold. These are experiments to see if glittering blanks is easier than just filling a regular numbered mold with glitter and hoping to doesn't sink π€
