We had the privilege of sharing our coffee @ Nicole & Josh’s wedding on 4.22.23 (Earth Day!) What a beautiful wedding & the venue was👌🏽on point. We had a blast giving people caffeine & hot chocolate (& even decaf for our less crazy folks!) Thank you for allowing us to be apart of your big day. We loved it. ☀️♥️🙌🏽

We have been staying busy building, building, fixing… and building some more! I’m sorry I haven’t posted much lately and thank you for those who have reached out to ask how were doing! We have started building our coffee cart for smaller events like weddings, business socials, and showers! Very exciting to see it come together! More pictures to come.

Wow!!! 😍This tiny home bathroom in our coffee Roastery is a pretty big game changer. We contemplated whether or not it was even needed because obviously we can take a couple minutes and just walk back inside our home to go to the bathroom, but then we started thinking “multi-purpose”. What happens if we ever want to rent out this space on Airbnb as a tiny home studio or use it as a mother-in-law suite for whenever we have the in-laws come to town. After that thought, we decided to go for it! Right now, no we don’t need a shower, toilet, or bathroom in general, but things are a lot harder to add after the fact. What I haven’t shown yet is this sweet propane on demand water heater that is used for small campers, but we’re using it to give us hot water for our entire Roastery when otherwise we’d just have cold water. It’s really starting to come together. The storage will be setup soon with all our coffee beans, cups, and miscellaneous items that we have gathered over the past year and hopefully in this next week we’ll have counters in. We’ll be roasting coffee soon! 🥳

Hello Tiny Home Bathroom!!! We are thrilled to get our Natures Head Composting toilet 🚽 put in place and setup. We also installed our super cute vanity and everything has running water! 💦 it’s really nice when things actually come together and look great. Shower doors to be installed soon with an awesome barn door to enter into the bathroom. 🥳

I am SO glad we decided to go this route. It’s one of my favorite bathrooms we’ve done. Just wait til you get to see the compost toilet and the beautiful shower doors! Wow! 🤩😍

Transformation Tuesday!! We decided we probably should put a bathroom in the Roastery so we don’t have to walk back and forth to the house. In the short term we were thinking… “That sounds like a lot of work. Is it really worth it?” And then in the long run it seemed like a no brainer so we decided to get crazy and build out a bathroom. Not gonna lie, some of our best work yet!

After all the chaos of the rain and leaks, the flooring is going in. We still have some frustrations with water getting in at one door, but one praise report is the other two look good! We’re so close to buttoning up this sucker!! Thank you for everyone who reached out after the last post. It means a lot to know we have so many people in our corner cheering us on and wanting to help!

This has been a very frustrating week and a half for our coffee roastery. We have run into problem after problem. We have had a ton of rain 🌧️ and it has shown us all the areas we have had major leaks and even black mold growth! 🤢😒Blah. You would never realize how difficult it is to fix door jams and make sure everything is perfectly sealed. We basically had to rip off each of the door jams and start over. Hours and hours seemingly down the drain when we though it would take maybe a couple hours.

And once again we are having problems with the electrical. It feels like these little issues will never stop. We could use prayer if you’re reading this. We have a lot to get done in a short period of time so we can get this thing going. We just need things to work and fall into place.

Taped and mudded with most sanding done. I never thought it would take as long as it has to finish the drywall, but we’re almost there!!

Ceilings are up and lights are in!! 🎉🥳🤩
It is so exciting to walk in and flick a switch to turn the lights on. For months we have used an extension cord with random lights to work into the night.
Now it’s time to mud!!

Ever dreamt of putting in your own pocket door? We highly recommend it! We were so excited to create an entrance to our storage area through this wall without needing a traditional door. I think it turned out great!

And we thought the walls sucked… Try putting up the ceiling. 🫣What a headache, but we got it up! We did a little thicker drywall at 5/8 instead of 1/2 inch and you wouldn’t believe how much heavier one piece is. Glad it’s almost over 😅 😴

Wow!! What a whirlwind 🌪️ of a week! The rain we got last week caused a couple hiccups to our drywall. Ends up we have a massive leak around the door so that took some time to figure out, but we’re back at it!!! Drywall is almost done! Wooo 🥳

Drywall is going up!!! 😅Eek! 😬🤩 Very excited to start enclosing the space and making it feel like a real place vs a shed.

You never quite know if you’re ready for that phoenix heat, but we’re sure gonna give it our best try! 🌵 ☀️

Dealing with electrical has been frustrating at best, but I’m thankful for our pup 🐶 to keep us company and our amazing friend Scott who is an electrician, paramedic, RN, and ropes rescue guru (a jack of all trades)! He has bent over backwards to help us get this thing afloat! We couldn’t have done this without you!

It is crazy to go from a place with just walls to a space that looks like a tiny home.
