Had a gel-x client come in today (with a three month old set on) and did a soak off!

She said she has never seen her nails in such strong shape after removing any enhancements from her nails! She always has flakey and thin nails after removal!

Tip Tuesday:

With my Spa pedicures and manicures, I offer paraffin wax for both hands and feet!

If you are getting a gel service, the wax is applied after your polish! But with regular polish, wax is applied before!

Why is paraffin wax applied and used?

🌸 Helps stimulate blood flow

🌸 Promotes relaxation of muscles and joints

🌸 Helps reduce muscle spasms

🌸 Softens skin, calluses, adhesions, and scars

Please note: if you are going to a salon and they dip your hands and feet into the melted wax tub they have, they should not be doing this. The wax could also be harboring bacteria growth and other pathogens that may have come from another client.

They should be using separate bags that are thrown away after each client! And should be using a specific instrument to ladle the wax out of the wax tub.

ATTENTION:: Nail biters! I even offer nails for you! I specialize in sculpted acrylic!! What does this mean?

I do not use plastic tips! I use a “sticker” and stick them to each individual finger and sculpt it from there! No more nails popping off after a few days! These will last you 2-3 weeks! (Need to fill after that)

I start small! I don’t want you not being able to do anything with long nails! We apply shorties and watch those babies grow! I also use an AMAZING protein bond that will help grow your nails longer and stronger!

All of these are single use implements! Your nail technician should be using a NEW nail file, nail buffer, and sanding band. At the end of a service I offer ALL my clients their nail file and buffer, because I would just be throwing them away anyway!

If your nail technician isn’t using a new single use implement every time you are in, you run the risk of getting a fungus or bacteria growth on you nail plate or hands!
