Happy Monday and a very happy birthday to DJ Hepkat! Doug is always changing up his Vinyl Night sets with interesting new tunes, similar to his favorite Black Band cocktail, an Old Fashioned with rye instead of whiskey. Doug has been a DJ for over 25 years, getting his start in college on the radio. It was a little before then that he received his most prized vinyl album, Bob Marley’s “Uprising.” Doug has been instrumental in making Vinyl Night successful and helping build a community of music and vinyl lovers. Stop by tonight and help us wish Doug a happy birthday! We’ll have the dance floor ready. 🕺🏻✨

PEORIA BOURBON Batch 2 is here. This expression means a lot to us here at Black Band Distillery. It means we’re another step closer to rebuilding what we lost. Whiskey City. Our goal is to bring back an industry and culture that once made Peoria the Whiskey Capital of the World, through a relentless commitment to world-class spirits and the highest quality distilling practices. At 78% white corn and 15% warthog wheat from Janie’s Mill, as well as 7% barley from Country Malt, this batch offers new flavor notes at 111 proof. This expression is also certified organic by the USDA and MOSA, as well as OU Kosher certified. Exclusively from these bottles and future Peoria Bourbon releases, a portion of the sales will go to Peoria area charities. Tonight is the first time you’ll be able to try this exciting new batch of PEORIA BOURBON. Cheers to the Whiskey City!
