For the next few days I'll be away from my phone or any internet connectivity. If I don't get back to you until Monday or Tuesday, it's nothing personal - just busy swinging swords with friends.

Halloween may have been yesterday, but there is no way I wasn't going to share this awesome shot of Tara's Phoenix Queen! I've been waiting for the right excuse to use this canned fog effect and I am OBSESSED with the way her feathers cut the light. No Photoshop required - just one badass babe!

When I started photography in high school, I started paying attention to the images hung in the places around me. Who shot the photos? What was the story behind the picture? How does one get their images hung up?

Now, thanks to my work with Bella Baby, two of my images will be hanging indefinitely on the Mom & Baby floor of OSF Peoria. I remember both of these kiddos vividly, and I am so honored that my images of these beautiful babes will get to become the background of so many families' new beginnings.

Just a sneak peek of some of the magic we captured last night. Elwing is one of those people who is usually working like crazy behind the scenes, especially if you've enjoyed an event at Billie Creek. She has been so invaluable to me in trying to get my realm set up for eventing success, and I cannot imagine just how many other people could say the same. It was an absolute honor to capture these portraits for her at the site of her knighting.

More spooky Ghost Nun for you! This shoot was relatively simple, leaving me with the challenge of dialing in the vibe with the edit. Normally I try to edit fairly true-to-life, but I had so much fun adding as much creepy factor as I could. Combine that with the top notch way that Aemilie brought the character to life, and this is easily one of my favorite costume shoots in quite some time.

FanExpo 2024!
This weekend is special for me as it marks 5 years since my first con, Wizard World 2019. Additionally, FanExpo gave me my guesting break last year, which was such an amazing opportunity. It was so good to be back among friends and to see so many friendly faces. Thank you to everyone who remembered me from last year and went out of their way to share some kind words. You have no idea how much it means to me!

I want to thank .so.cosplay for selecting me as a panelist for ’s True Cosplay Crimes panel, and a million thanks to for being a fantastic roomie. Y’all should see the crazy amount of GORGEOUS gifts she made for guests, AND her Jake the American Dragon cosplay was on display for the show to see!

I am so proud of my friends for their guesting opportunities, cosplay contest wins, volunteer work, paneling work, new builds, upgrades, and all the payoff for all the hard work. Y’all killed it this year.

It's not often I get to slow down a bit and work in a studio-type setting, but this shoot was well worth the wait. Sarif brought his A-game AND a killer wardrobe, and I'm so happy with so many of the images we made!
