It’s official! The haunted house is coming back and this years theme is “Sweet Dreams, Centennial” 👻

Here’s what you need to know:

September 16th: Room Head Meeting
Are you interested in running a haunted house room?
Come to room 864 with an idea for a room based on Nightmares. You can run a room solo or with a friend. You have to have been in the haunted house before to run a room.

Once the rooms have been planned, there will be a sign up sheet to pick your room. It will be first come first serve.

October 10th: Haunted House Meeting
Everyone who has signed up for the haunted house will meet in room 864 and then spread out with their groups to plan for the haunted house

October 22, 24, 29: Rehearsals for the Haunted house.
If you cannot make at least two of the three rehearsals, you cannot be in the haunted house.

October 31: The Homecoming Carnival
We will begin setting up for the haunted house directly after school! Expect to be there until 9 or later.

TECH TIME !!!! (pt 2)

Are you interested in improvisational comedy? Can you think well on your feet? Are you kinda funny? If you said yes to any of those questions, come check out our workshop this Wednesday and see if the Centennial Plan B improv troupe is right for you!

Hey Everyone! Our Fall Play ‘A Midsummer Nights Dream’ is about to start the rehearsal process! Anybody interested in auditioning for a role in the show should come to the stage after school August 15th. The auditions will be cold reads, so you don’t need to prepare any material, just bring yourself and a good attitude! We recommend leaving your friday after school open in case we need callbacks too. Hope to see you there!

Centennial Theatre Company is getting ready to get back into full swing for the 24-25 school year! Make sure you don’t miss out first Drama Club meeting of the year on Tuesday August 13th on the stage. Everyone is welcome!

A Couple of Helpful Reminders for anybody interested in attending the ASU Gammage HSMT Awards.

Centennial Theatre Company is SO proud of all of its graduates this year and would like to recognize some of them and the next steps they are taking in their post-secondary journey.

While some of them may be going on to become eagles, owls, or sun devils, they’ll always be Centennial Coyotes.

Sitzprobe! Tech week is well underway and we are so excited to put on this production! Into The Woods by Centennial Theatre Company March 8-10th 7:00pm $7

DIGGING UP THE BOYS by Laura Lundgren Smith student directed by E.J. Esmas and Emma Denny on Jan 13! One night only! Ask a cast member or come to the drama club meeting on Jan 12 for a ticket!

Drama club meeting on Thursday at 2:30 right after school in Colletti’s room! We will be talking about one acts, the improv show, tech meetings, and more!

Auditions for our spring musical “Into The Woods” are coming up very soon!

- We will have dance workshops after school on stage on Monday Dec. 5th and Tuesday Dec. 6th. You will be learning the same dance for the audition at both workshops so you do not need to come to both if you don’t want to.
- The audition will be on Monday Dec. 12th. You will need to have a 1 minute monologue, 1 minute song and the dance you learned from the workshops prepared.
- Callback list will be posted the morning of Wednesday Dec. 13th and callbacks will take place after school the SAME DAY so please have that day free on the chance you are called back.
- The cast list will be posted AFTER SCHOOL on Thursday Dec. 14th!

The matinee for You Can’t Take It With You was a huge success! Thank you to Sundance, Desert Harbour, and Paseo Verde for coming and for all of your enthusiasm!

Haunted house room head meeting will be on September 30th right after school in Colletti’s room. Anyone who wants to be a room head (WHO HAS DONE THE HAUNTED HOUSE BEFORE) be sure to put youre name on the sign up sheet outside Collettis room. Be prepared to pitch a room idea, which room they would like, and how many people they will need. The heads (M and Mikayla) will go through all the ideas and choose 6 to be haunted house rooms!

This week is National Arts in Education Week! Centennial Theatre Company recognizes that the Arts are an essential part of a complete education for students.

We have a drama club meeting tomorrow (Wed. 4/17) after school in Mrs. Colletti’s room! We are discussing thespian inductions, end of the year dates, and voting for thespian awards! You do not want to miss this meeting!
