From those working on the front lines to the behind-the-scenes contributors, your relentless effort is the backbone of our communities and economy. It's a day to take a well-deserved break, reflect on achievements, and appreciate the collective power of labor that drives progress every day.
Let's celebrate the strength, resilience, and spirit of workers everywhere. Enjoy your day with family, friends, and some well-deserved relaxation!
We wish everyone a terrific day with family, friends or just enjoying a day to relax.
Labor Day is a great opportunity to honor all workers and show them how appreciated their efforts are. Thank you for your continued outstanding work.
Happy Labor Day 🙌🏽🙌🏽
Today, we celebrate the hard work and dedication of workers across our community. Your contributions are the backbone of our city and beyond, and I’m grateful for all you do to make our district a better place.
No matter your role, each of us plays an important part in moving our community forward. Take some time to relax and enjoy the day—you’ve earned it!
YES!
I love movies. And I love unions. But a movie about unions? Please. I’m there in a heartbeat! To celebrate Labor Day weekend, the showed the 1979 iconic film Norma Rae, starring the plucky and determined Sally Field as the title character. Based on a true story, Norma Rae gets involved in a unionizing effort in her textile factory. It’s inspiring, sweet, funny, and moving. Because seeing a woman fight for what she believes in, no matter the challenges that are thrown her way, is something that many of us can relate to. So on this Labor Day, thank a union worker for their commitment to lifting up the middle class and fighting for safe and fair working environments. I will always be on the side of workers, you can count on that. Because as Vice President Harris says, “when we fight, WE WIN!”

America’s support for unions is higher today than at any time in nearly 60 years.
But Congress needs to pass the Protecting the Right to Organize Act to make it easier to form a union and fight for your fair share.
Ready to show your support? We’re delivering yard signs right to your door! Just send us a DM with your address, and we’ll handle the rest. Let’s fill our neighborhoods with a message of progress and equality! 🌟
