This is wild. Clients found $200 of travelers checks from 1988 in the ductwork of the home they closed on. They’re returning them back to the estate of the previous owners. Never a dull moment in the real estate world.

On the last day of school, we just got a surprise visit from S.W.A.T at our office.

We’ve been teasing this for a while. We can finally share the finished project. A couple months ago my team moved into a larger office here at the RE/MAX Traders Unlimited building. We wanted to do something that expressed our mission and passion, I knew I needed to call my friend Megan Couri, a fellow real estate agent. Megan was incredible to work with from design conception through completion. She had my team do a vision board and she took the concepts and went to work.

Our team loves supporting the local art community and what better way to do it than have a work of art that inspires us every day. The words on the hand on the left define how we do business and the hand on the right, words about our clients. We work hard to empower and educate clients through providing information, resources, and counsel to make great decisions when buying or selling homes. Megan displayed our love for our community and our clients exquisitely.

Closing cookies, one of my favorite traditions.

It’s 65 degrees in May, a team member and I are sitting outside along Water St in Peoria having an incredible lunch.

If you have an escrow account, you don’t have to pay your real estate taxes out of pocket. The tax bill will still come to your house, but the bank will also get a copy.

Today has been a great review day for our team, first Jacob and now Jessica Leitner- the Mike Van Cleve Team at Re/Max Traders Unlimited. On our team, we hire for character first and foremost and great people take great care of people.

This wall in our new office (our team moved across the hall at RE/MAX Traders Unlimited) is getting transformed into something exciting. We can’t wait to see the transformation. Pics to come when it’s done.

This is awesome. Today, I received the certificate and recognition for being inducted into the RE/MAX Hall of Fame. It hasn’t really settled in yet. We have always approached business with the mindset that, like Zig Ziglar says “if you help enough people get what they want, you get what you want” We consider the recognition and the compensation secondary to our intention to help and serve.
