My Healing Journey:

The more I grow emotionally and spiritually, the more I am okay with accepting the “Let Them” in my own life and relationships. Even family & friends can mistreat and disrespect you. It is hard to swallow but it is true.

This is something that took me a very long time to learn. I use to tolerate a lot of toxic behaviors because I didn't want to lose people, especially people I loved. I would try my best to please others. I learned the hard way if they were really my people they would never treat me like that.

Don't make the mistake of being so understanding and forgiving that you overlook the fact that you're being repeatedly disrespected and emotionally abused.

When someone is truly sorry they make positive changes and do not try to shame you or make you feel guilty.

Let them be upset.
Let them judge you.
Let them misunderstand you.
Let them gossip about you.
Let them ignore you.
Let them be "right."
Let them doubt you.
Let them not like you.
Let them not speak to you.
Let them run your name in the ground.
Let them make you out to be the villain.

Whatever it is that people want to say about you, let them! You can’t control them. Kindly step aside and LET THEM. You know your heart and you can see your own good. You know your worth and you are deserving of inner peace.

The hard truth is they know how much they are hurting you. They just simply don't care. They did it knowing it could cause them to lose you. They did it anyway. People that love you care about how they make you feel. They don’t forget you or leave you out. They don’t talk badly about you. Love is treating others the way you would want to be treated and talk to.

There will be people that would rather lose you than be honest about what they've done to you. Taking ownership is something narcissistic unhealed people Do Not Do. Let them go.

The lack of respect was the closure. The lack of apology was the closure. The lack of care was the closure. The lack of acountability was the closure. The lack of honestly was the closure. Let them go.

Make the decision to no longer sit at tables where you might be the topic when you get up. Let them go. Sit with people who defend your character and know your worth.

You can still be kind. You can even still love them deeply. But do it from the distance they created in their words and actions. Access to you is a privilege they have proven they can’t be trusted with. Let them go.

You don’t need to tell your side of the story. God already knows and so do they. Let them campaign smear you. Let them go.

It’s taken me a long time to get here. Sleepless nights, countless tears, managing a range of emotions filled with anger, disappointment, confusion and deep hurt. Lots of self reflection, self preservation, and seeking wisdom from those wiser than me.

If you are struggling with this, please know you are not alone. We will never understand why people hurt people. We just know hurting others make them feel powerful. But they are not. To be strong we do the hard work to grow and improve ourselves. Because healed people do in fact heal, help and protect themselves from others with toxic patterns.

Don’t you dare let them steal your joy.
Don’t you dare let them steal your light.
Don’t you dare let them steal your peace.
You are in control of that.

Hold tight to what you can control and release your grip on what you can’t control. Set your boundaries to keep your inner peace even if you have to release friends & family that you once believed were your people. Forgive for not being the person you needed them to be. Not to dismiss their bad behavior but to free yourself.

Let them go.

What happened in your house doesn’t need to continue to occur in adulthood.

It is possible to undo unhealthy relationship patterns and learn new healthy skills.

Today we are hosting a seminar to help you learn how to get your needs met by working on your shadow parts. Working on your shadow parts is the key to feeling whole. The ultimate goal of doing this is to be in harmony with all of your parts. Once you recognize and heal parts, you will feel more whole, and will no longer be afraid to show the world who you are. When you truly are able to do this healing work, not only will you feel healing and more whole but you’ll inspire others to do the same. You must be willing to explore your fears and repressed desires, and go deep within. Shadow work helps you to get to the very parts of your life that you have disconnected from, or separated from this will help you claim all of who you are with love rather than judgment, if you choose to attend today, just go in with a child curiosity. You will be doing lots of journaling and self reflection.

Ladies, we all just want to be loved and in fact we deserve to be loved unconditionally! Those people you have in your life will show you that you matter through their words and actions! A huge part of this is knowing your worth and demanding that your spouse, friends, and family treat you kindly, respectfully, safely, thoughtfully, honestly, and loyally. Someone who loves you would never try to control you, intimidate you or manipulate you into doing things that makes you feel uncomfortable physically or emotionally. Remember to always ask yourself “Is this relationship taking me towards the healthy & happy future that I want for my life or is it taking me further from it?” It is true every decision you make moment by moment creates your future.
