Callie couldn’t be here to pick up her gown (she’s at a bachelor-bachelorette party), so Mom and Grandma stopped by to help her out today. Callie has such a beautiful heart but a busy work-travel-wedding planning (and other weddings attending) schedule (she lives in California), we truly wonder how she does it all??? We made sure to take some fun photos with photos of Callie “saying yes and picking up her dress” and we hope she enjoys them! Lawanda picked up her dress today (with Stevie and Dixie in tow 😉). We had to super rush her dress because she needed it for September, and because it was such an easy design we got it done in four weeks! PHEW 🥵☺️ Not every dress is that quick when it comes to dress construction and design, but Lawanda’s design was so we were so happy to “git ‘er done” quickly. Lawanda now can enjoy the rest of her wedding planning which is going pretty smoothly. Tonight she’s going to relax and have fun at a tractor pull featuring her fiancé…go get ‘em! 🙌 Thank you for being such an easy bride to work with, Lawanda! You are going to be such a beautiful bride!

WOWZA!!! 🤩🤩🤩 That’s the only way we can describe Claudia in her wedding day. She specifically came to us because we sell the Ukrainian brand Pollardi , and she specifically came in looking for the Alda dress. Pollardi is a very exclusive brand and not every store stocks all of their dresses. Although we didn’t have Alda in store, we had other dresses from Pollardi that she could try to give her a good idea of what the dress would feel like. Claudia took the chance, we ordered it, and she obviously LOVED it. We always make sure you k ow what you are getting, and Pollardi never disappoints!Claudia is just stunning (with little hints of Anne Boleyn, dare we say? 😉). She even made her own veil and you can follow her for more fun ideas at !!! Thank you for the photos, Claudia! You are just breath taking and we loved every minute with you in store!!! ❤️

Taylor knows how to wear a wedding dress, THAT’S for sure!!! 🤩🤩🤩 She’s been so laid back with wedding planning and dress shopping, of course wearing her dress beautifully comes naturally to her. 😉 She’s only got a few months to go until September, but she doesn’t need much in alterations since we did a custom hem length (which was perfect with her shoes), so she’s almost ready to go! Heide picked up her dress today!!! 🎉🎉🎉 She brought back her Mom’s dress and veil so we could help her look at ways to incorporate fabrics from it into her actual gown, and we definitely came up with some good ideas! We also took her Mom’s headpiece/veil combo and made a quick adjustment to it it make it more modern and we all loved how it turned out. Heide has such a fun personality and she is going to truly be a unique, beautiful bride. 🤩She is so laid back they may even have a sword fight at their wedding (a little bit of Ren Faire themed, we LOVE). Heide, it was so wonderful to work with you on finding your dress and making everything come together. You better send us photos!!

Mallory today!!! 🎉🎉🎉 What an incredible model too; she seriously looked amazing in everything and even her Mom had the hardest time ranking all the dresses. As it turned out though, the very first dress Mallory tried on was HER dress and no other dress here (or the other two stores she went to after) compared to it. Her eyes lit up every time she even MENTIONED it, so today she made it officially her wedding dress!!! 🙌 She is getting married this October, so we have some work to do, but we got this! CONGRATULATIONS, MALLORY! You are such a and you can definitely model our dresses anytime!!! ❤️

Talk about a fun appointment: Breana found her perfect dress and was SOOOOOO surprised because she thought it looked weird on the hanger! 😂 That goes to show you: you never know until you try so keep an open mind! She had been to one other store before us but she didn’t really know her style or favorite silhouette yet. We let everyone in Breana’s entourage walk through our dresses and pull ones for her to try, but we had her try them on in a certain order to make her decision making process easy. Through our “tried and true” Adagio method, Breana was able to find out pretty quickly what her style was and narrowed her selection down to three favorites. Then, she tried on one after the other and was super decisive about the dress that “felt like me”. THATA GIRL! ☺️ She only has three months to go before her wedding (so most stores would limit her to off rack options), but we are making her a beautiful, one of a kind, custom design. Yup, you heard us right: a custom design from scratch for her October wedding. She’s going to have such a beautiful dress! 🙌 CONGRATULATIONS, BREANA!!!! 🎉
(We are also proud to say she has served in our US military and that’s where she met her fiancé. 🇺🇸We will make extra sure we take care of her because she definitely deserves it!!! Thank you for being one heck of a bride, Breana! )

Megan today!!! 🎉🎉🎉 She visited us yesterday and tried on a dress she just couldn’t stop smiling in, but she was nervous to say yes right away. She had two other appointments that day, so we said GO TO THEM! If it is meant to be, it is meant to be. She came in today and said she was so thankful to have us be so nice and not be “car salesman-y”. At Adagio, we are not here to sell, we are here to help you find your dress. Whether it’s here or not, we want to give you the best experience and no pressure when you are shopping for the most important garment you are going to wear.
Megan had fun at the other appointments, but our dress here was still the winner. It is so beautiful on her and she gets so giddy when she wears it. Her face lights up and she can’t stop smiling; THAT IS WHEN YOU KNOW!!! CONGRATUALTIONS, MEGAN! We had so much fun at both of your appointments and you have such a wonderful family! ❤️ Wr are so happy you are an Adagio bride!

We LOVE to receive photos from our brides!! Katie was such a gorgeous, easy going bride to work with and we were so happy to make her dream dress and veil (and if you remember we helped reattach her Mom’s beadwork on her social occasion dress). The best part of this card though: “we are expecting a baby boy in November.” 🤩🤩🤩❤️❤️❤️ There is no better feeling than watching our brides “graduate” and live happily ever after. ☺️

Kylar at her Diamond Appointment today!!!! 🎉🎉🎉 She came in with an open mind and wanted to try on every style…and boy did she try on a bunch of styles!!! She claimed she was “picky”, but we will say she was “decisive” because she was really good at communicating things she liked and things she didn’t like. In the end, her dress was a little different than what she originally came in looking for, but it is such a show stopper we are sure her fiancé’s jaw will DROP on the big day! 🤩
Fun fact: Kylar has been with her fiancé for six years, she’s getting married in June (sixth month), her birthday is May 6th, the dress she chose was the sixth dress she tried on…we definitely think she needs to go to the casino and put money on number six at the roulette table!!! What are the odds??? 😂CONGRATULATIONS, KYLAR!!! You were gorgeous in all of our dresses and you are such a dream bride!! ❤️

Mary truly is a when it comes to being a business woman, a mother of five (Joey made her appearance April 29!), and planning a wedding. 🥵 She took on more work by designing her own dress with us and it turned out perfectly today! Her two other little ones had some fun trying on veils with her too, so we would say today was a successful and super fun appointment for everyone!!! CONGRATULATIONS, MARY!!! 🎉🎉🎉 You know how much we appreciate you and we will always be your hype squad when you need it! You are doing such an amazing job as a bride and a Mom! 🤩

Sorry I’ve been a little quiet this last week…I was getting married! ❤️ 15 years in the making and we decided three weeks ago to do a quick getaway to Las Vegas (PHEW 🥵) where my parents got married. Talk about quick planning! 😂 It was hot, we got a little lost on the way to the venue, we didn’t have a videographer and had to scramble a bit, and my hair didn’t really cooperate…but it was absolutely perfect.
If there is one piece of advice I can give to all my brides on their big days it is don’t get lost in the small things; they aren’t worth your energy. Don’t get upset, just let it roll. Enjoy the day and have fun because that’s what people will remember. Get off your phone and live in the moment; it goes by so quickly. ❤️

Don’t be fooled by this photo. Shaelyn had a huge entourage when she picked up her dress today, they all just had to leave right away because they had an anniversary to celebrate, a wedding to get to, or didn’t want to leave burgers in the car for too long. 😂😂😂 Shaelyn had such a wonderful and seriously she gave them a show when she tried her dress on! Even she was so excited when she first saw her dress hanging in the fitting room: “Oh my gosh! It’s EXACTLY what I wanted.” When you choose to order a custom design, we work tirelessly to get all those little details you want for your dream dress just right, and Jaelyn’s dress was spot on! CONGRATULATIONS, JAELYN! 🎉🎉🎉

Shaelyn said yes to the dress today!!! 🎉🎉🎉 She had been to several other places before us, but then (finally 😉) listened to previous Maddie (who had made a custom design with us a few years ago) about coming to Adagio. Shaelyn wanted a unique design that no other store had but wasn’t sure about making the drive from Iowa; OF COURSE we are worth the drive. We pieced two dresses together and it was truly the perfect Shaelyn dress!!! Even her little one Maeve was on board with her design. ❤️ CONGRATULATIONS, SHAELYN! Your dress is quite the stunning masterpiece and we can’t wait to create it!

Gorgeous bride and bridal entourage alert!!!! ☺️ Paige picked up her dress yesterday and is ready to go for her July wedding!!! “I’m ready to get married now!!!” Talk about a quick turn around; she has her alterations appointment Friday with Susan’s by Design in Gridley, IL., then a final hair trial, and then she gets married at the end of July. 🙌 Paige was such a wonderfully patient bride to work with on her custom design and we are so happy that she is a part of the Adagio family. She is sweet, smart, and beautiful and we can’t wait for photos! CONGRATULATIONS, PAIGE!!! 🎉🎉🎉

Like daughter, like mother!! ☺️ Lawanda was once a mother of the bride for previous Nicole’s wedding a few years ago, and now it’s Lawanda’s turn to get hitched!!! She didn’t want anything too revealing or too elaborate because they are doing a backyard wedding on their farm, so we went to the racks and found several dresses that were on point. With Nicole’s expert input, Lawanda found the perfect dress that met all of the criteria to match the laid back theme but still make her feel like a blushing bride. CONGRATULATIONS, LAWANDA! 🎉🎉🎉 We hope you celebrated at Childers with those mimosa flights after your appointment because you deserve it!! 😋

Not only was Heide so lucky to have found the perfect dress yesterday, but she was so blessed to have the perfect entourage!!! She had her long time friends from school in store (recognize Adagio models Nani and Sam? 😉) and FaceTimed friends from out of state, so when she said yes to her dress it was so loud with celebration exclamations that we think the neighbors could hear! 😂 Heide had an open mind when trying on and definitely tried on a lot of different styles, but she was actually pretty consistent with what she liked/didn’t like so it was easy to find HER dress. She’s even going to customize it with a little more “Renn Faire” qualities to make it the perfect dress; we are SO EXCITED!!! She brought her mother’s dress too, so we are eventually going to incorporate something from that garment into Heide’s bridal look. CONGRATULATIONS, HEIDE! You were so much fun to have in store and we definitely will remember those screams for a long time!!! ☺️🙌

Devyn picked up her custom design yesterday and OH WHAT A DRESS!!! 🤩🤩🤩 She took one of our designs, changed the front bodice a little, changed the sleeves a little, changed the back a little, and all the little changes made a big difference! What an incredibly beautiful dress she has and it is SO HER!!! She even brought a cute little hair accessory that she is going to wear for the reception and it (again) is SO DEVYN!! CONGRATULATIONS, DEVYN!! You are going to be such a blushing bride and you better send us photos!!! ❤️

Amiah picked up her dress today!!! 🎉🎉🎉 Talk about a beautiful model too; she has such an incredible shape and knew how to accessorize her dress in the perfect way. It’s nice when your dress fits and you don’t have all these clips in the back! 😂 She Facetimed her friends too and she seriously has the best HYPE squad; we all can’t wait for her wedding. 🙌 CONGRATULATIONS, AMIAH!! We will be thinking of you in your birthday in two weeks too!!! ☺️

Halle was quite the model today! She tried on her dress and custom veil and everything fit like a dream! ✨ She had decided to have small changes done to the neckline of one of our private designer’s dresses and Amy quickly went to the task of adding them before her appointment (and then Amy made a beautiful custom veil to match her dress). If you know what you want, we make it happen…so you could say “When you know, we will sew!” 😂 CONGRATULATIONS, HALLE! 🎉🎉🎉 We can’t wait for November to get here!!!

OMG Carlee was a BOMBSHELL today in ALLLLLL of our dresses!!! 🤩🤩🤩 We are a little obsessed because she was such a beautiful model AND she had the most beautiful hair color; we couldn’t stop styling it! 😂
She was just destined to be an Adagio bride: she’s getting married this December and was worried about lead times for ordering a dress based on the other shops she had visited. She thought she had to buy one off the rack, but our lead times for a made to order dress are only 2-4 months. We definitely had options for her to try and order a new dress just for her! She found exactly what wanted and we happily will work with her timeline of moving to Nashville too. CONGRATULATIONS, CARLEE!! You were a dream bride to work with and we had so much fun during your appointment with your Mom and Grandma! We can’t wait to have you all back in store in a few months!! ❤️

Autumn this weekend!!! 🎉🎉🎉 She purchased a dress from an online website but it didn’t meet her expectations, so she came to Adagio to find the perfect dress. She tried on quite a few dresses that were beautiful on her, but the one that won her heart was actually different than what she originally came in looking for. Talk about an interesting bridal journey!! ☺️ Always keep an open mind when trying on dresses because you never know what you will find! Autumn fell in love with the perfect dress that made her feel beautiful and comfortable. It’s GORGEOUS! 🤩 CONGRATULATIONS, AUTUMN!!! You deserve such a beautiful dress! ❤️

This is the only sneak peek you can get of this bride and her gown! 😂 Everything is remaining a secret until we can do a big reveal, but we still had to make a post because our bride is such a lovely person and deserves her five minutes of fame post! We worked with her at several appointments to create the perfect gown and today she got to try it on; she was over the moon elated. She almost couldn’t remember certain aspects of it (😂) but she was so overjoyed with the details of her dress when she was in it.
