In a previous meeting of Science Club, students made and evaluated various formulations of bubble fluid. This is a subsequent fun night with our own homemade bubble fluid and an assortment of bubble wands.

Peoria has a new high school football team. Quest joins the growing 8-player game Quest Academy in Peoria listened to its students and launched an 8-man football team in the Illinois 8-man Football Association for the 2023 season.
Quest Charter Academy Girls Basketball Open Gyms started this week! Any girls going into grades 5-12 that plan on playing basketball in the fall are highly encouraged to participate in open gyms this summer. Open gyms will be held at the Quest Charter Academy Middle School. Please download and join the Remind App for any and all updates for the summer!
Come join in on the passions on Thursday May 25th at Art Inc for 7th and 8th graders and at Quest Middle School for 5th and 6th from 10am-12pm. Our students will be presenting their passion projects that they have been working on all year long.
This is how we do NWEA. All students who grew in the winter to spring NWEA reading scores were put into a raffle to participate in a KnockerBall soccer game. The kids AND teachers had a lot of fun.

Last week, Quest was thrilled to provide two days of STEAM field trips for EVERY student and EVERY teacher in the building. The following partners went above and beyond to accommodate all of our groups: Mexican Art Museum, WNDR Museum, Dusable Museum, Immersive Mozart Exhibit, Museum of Science and Industry, Peck Farm Park, Morton Arboretum, Bloomington X-Golf, Bloomington Zoo, Peoria Zoo, iFLY, Peoria Courthouse and Judge Gorman, The Coroner’s Office, Peoria Zoo, Morton Cookery, Great Oaks, Maquoketa Caves, Kaplan Feldman Holocaust Museum, Menno Haven, National Museum of Puerto Rican Arts, Plank Pilates in Morton, and Wildlife Prairie Park!

Happy Administrative Assistant’s Day. Quest has the best! We’d like to thank Mrs. Stenger, Ms. Young, Ms. Martin, and Mrs. Vollrath for their dedication to Quest Charter Academy and the support they bring to administrators, students, parents, and all the guests who enter our buildings.
April 27 and 28 are the STEAM field trip days for all students. Please make sure you have communicated with your child and received the field trip forms. Trips going to Chicago and St. Louis depart from the school earlier than 8:30am. Please make sure your student is at school for the appropriate time in order to make their bus.
Passion Projects are an end of year project for all 5th-12th graders. Students work on their writing skills all year long culminating to a symposium where every student presents their research on a passion. Picture is a passion project boot camp the 7th grade team held to get students caught back up!
