When the weather gets warmer folks love a filling salad but sometimes you still need a bowl of comfort food no matter the season.

Rhythm Kitchen is run by family! Pictured here are my two youngest daughters 👭. They are behind the scenes literally helping run the machine that is RK.

That said, we will be closed this Saturday, May 18th to attend Scarlett's graduation from high school! Since three of her siblings are the ones who would cover for her position and mine (Boss/Mama), we have to close so we can all show up for her. 🖤

May is crazy busy when you have four kids 🤪. Thanks for always supporting us as we maintain the family business vs family values balance.

CLOSED the week of Thanksgiving (21st - 25th).

When I ask my son what he wants me to make for dinner, his answer is often Mac and Cheese 🧀. This is the same Mama-made mac and cheese that's on our menu. He works here now, so can have it any time, but I still make it for him at home too ♥️

Nevermind the drain getting repaired behind me and the wifi issues we have been having. This is what's in front of me in the moment and it's all so lovely! 🙂🔪🍎🍍🥕🍅🫑🧅🧄

We are closed today, Saturday 10/21, to pile in the Maag Wagon and head to Chicago! 🚌 🎶 🤘

Fun RK fact: We have a very small staff. Three of the Maag kids work back of house and Chef's son works in the kitchen alongside him. When the kids ask to go to see a band because it's our birthday month, we have to say "yes"!

It's graduation season and many people are celebrating this weekend, including me!

As many of our followers know, I am a Mama first and Boss second. The oldest of my 4 babies, Holiday Lily, is graduating with her Bachelor's in Brain and Cognitive Science from UIUC on Saturday and I am bursting with pride and excitement for her. She did THIS during a pandemic!

Wednesday has been our slowest day lately so it seemed like a good day to say "yes" to my son/employee who asked his Mama to accompany him to see some bands that we love out of state. 🤘

Back of house is fueled by these bands while we hustle through busy shifts so it seems fitting to have a work trip and enjoy them live!
