The Dawson Lake Dash has started! It's a 3.5 mile road race around the rolling hills of Dawson Lake in scenic Moraine View State Park in Le Roy. The Randy Simmons Memorial 5K Run has hit the streets of Peoria Heights. Randy Simmons was a long time educator, and coach, in the schools of Peoria. One of his dreams was for all kids to have an opportunity for a Catholic education. All proceeds go toward a Tuition Assistance Fund at Peoria Notre Dame to help keep Randy's dream alive. The Bloomington Parks & Recreation's Hill of a Race obstacle course run has started at Ewing Park in Bloomington. More than 30 obstacles await those brave enough this morning. U.S. Champion Cole Hocker Claims 1,500m Olympic Title With Outrageous Kick - FloTrack The U.S. champion Cole Hocker may have been underrated heading into the Olympic 1,500m final. He had no issues shocking those in attendance on Tuesday.
