Through all my business up and downs and growing pains I just want to say thank you to those of you that are still here waiting for me to get my s**t together lol. Business ownership is not easy at all! I’m more than sure I’m the first person in my family to grow a business from literally nothing ! I’ve had so many business hiccups throughout these years. Sometimes I’m sure I’ve been looked at like “damn when is she gonna get it together?” Lol and I ask myself the same question! I’m a first in this. There was no blueprint for me to follow. I’m free styling this s**t as I go as many of us are. It’s not always pretty. Nobody talks about the downside of this. You’re gonna be rich, you’re gonna be poor, you’re going to be happy and sometimes extremely sad and depressed. Some days you gonna be excited to do content and some days you’re gonna be so overwhelmed with life you won’t even wanna log into this MFer! Customers gonna be cursing your ass out and others are going to be saying “don’t give up”. You may work harder when you’re depressed to block out the noise. Or you may be one that goes ghost and “life” spills over into your business. I’ve experienced almost every single emotion that comes with this and it’s only made me grow into who I truly need to be! I’m not even close to being the business owner that I know I will be but best believe she’s in me and is slowly being unleashed little by little. If you’re reading this and ready to throw in the towel I PROMISE you it’s worth the fight! I rather get my ass whooped getting to the other side than throwing in the white flag. I’m not willing to settle for a “what if I kept going?” story and you shouldn’t either. Have I lost customers? Absolutely! It’s apart of the game. All I can do is continue to correct myself, be self aware and be willing to take constructive criticism from not only my supporters but the people that love me. It’s all a lesson. Here’s my advice for upcoming business owners and entrepreneurs. Stay teachable. Don’t be offended by everything. Everyone is not competition. Give grace because you never know when you could be on the other side. Be better. I just want y’all to fight! Don’t give up. It can be done. I’m grateful for every lesson. Every time I get cursed out by a customer. Every bad review. Every amazing review. Every time some says they’ll never shop with me again. Every time someone says they only shop with me It all contributes to my growth. Thank you all. Greatness is loading within all of us.❤️
