Days 2 and 3 of our STEM Career Exploration Camp have been an absolute blast! On Day 2, we had an eye-opening experience at Jump Simulation, where our campers delved into the world of medical simulations and healthcare technology. The hands-on activities and cutting-edge tools truly showcased the future of medicine and patient care.

Today, we shifted gears and spent an incredible day at Caterpillar. Our campers were amazed by the engineering marvels and innovative machinery that power the world. From exploring massive construction equipment to understanding the intricate design processes, the experience was nothing short of awe-inspiring.

A special thank you to Caterpillar for their generous support, as well as the Society of Women Engineers - SWE (SWE) and the Women's Initiative Network (WIN) for providing such enriching experiences. We're so excited to see where the next days of camp will take us!

What an incredible start to our STEM Career Exploration Camp! Today, our campers had the unique opportunity to spend the day at Precision Planting, where they were immersed in the exciting world of engineering. From learning about cutting-edge agricultural technologies to exploring various engineering fields, the hands-on experiences and insightful sessions were truly inspiring. A huge thank you to Precision Planting and Bradley University for their hospitality. Here's to many more days of discovery and innovation!

Thanks to Patrick's leadership and generosity, Peoria County Farm Bureau has been a tremendous partner with many of our Extension and 4-H programs . We wish him all the best as he retires from this role and goes on to the next adventure.

We are looking forward to hosting a QUILTING Workshop on Tuesday, May 21 at 5 PM. The workshop will be held at the University of Illinois Extension office in Peoria County! Please join us to learn about the basics of quilting and beyond! We can't wait to see you there!

Fun with Food Science at Home – a Virtual Statewide Experience

Sign up and receive four food science activities to complete at home. A live ZOOM event will be held at the end to discuss your findings and explore careers. By completing all four activities and attending the LIVE event, you can count this as a Statewide Experience!
