A community market filled with handmade goods, food trucks, and 250 vendors! This bi-annual event is the perfect place to get that one-of-a-kind holiday gift, visit and support local businesses, or simply spend a Saturday at a farmers market built around community. This event runs from 9am - 4pm on Saturday, Nov. 4th!

The Peoria Diamond Club and Get Local AZ Events are co-hosting an Epic Food Truck Throwdown on Nov 11th from 4-10pm. The event will feature 50+ food trucks going head-to-head to see who is voted as the best food truck of the evening. In addition to food trucks, there will be live music from Luke AFB Fighter Country Talent Squad, free kids’ activities, free parking, and the admission fee proceeds will benefit PDC charities. This event is FREE to active military and veterans with military ID. Normal admission is just $5!

The first home game for the Peoria Javelinas will be this Thursday, October 5th! Gates will open at Peoria Stadium at 5:30pm, with first pitch at 6:30pm.

Are you looking to break into the world of professional baseball and/or Parks and Recreation? The City of Peoria is hiring recent graduates or current Master's students pursuing a degree in Sports Management, Marketing, Recreation, or a related field for a Venue Operations Associate role at the Peoria Sports Complex.

This fixed-term role will provide the ideal candidate with the opportunity to work alongside not one, but TWO Major League Baseball teams during the Spring Training season, as well as assist with the Arizona Fall League baseball season and other City of Peoria events at the Peoria Sports Complex and Rio Vista Recreation Center.
