When Patricia isn't at work, she enjoys gardening, floral arranging and raising rabbits, chickens, ducks and turkeys. She is also the Rabbit and Cavy Leader for Sequoia 4-H. Walla Walla FFA received an FFA Forever grant to start their first FFA community Garden at their school.

Since the garden has started, it has brought many chapter members together to learn about drip irrigation, w**d control, camaraderie and the benefits of growing your own plants. Students w**ded and harvested fruits and vegetables over the summer while taking care of their animal projects on the school farm and plan to grow watermelons for feed/treat the hogs being raised for the fair.
