👉 I ask how she's doing, she beams "Wonderful!" But behind that smile, she is struggling.🚶♀️💔
👥 My husband and I joke, "Life is Wonderful!" 😂 It's our reminder to look beyond her cheerfulness.😷
🕵️♀️ We've become detectives, reading subtle cues. Her hip pain? She says 2, but it's really a 9 or 10.☎️

🌟 Today, let’s talk about a vital topic: Hydration for your Loved Ones with Dementia.
🩺 Doctor’s Advice: Ensure your loved ones get at least 1.5 liters of liquid daily. While 2 liters is ideal, aim for a minimum of 1.5 liters, including essential electrolytes.
🥤 Electrolyte Sources:
🔸Pedialyte
🔸Gatorade
🔸Propel (low sugar)
🔸Liquid IV
✔️These can often be found in powder form for easy rehydration. If your loved one has diabetes, consult with their doctor to see if Propel or another low-sugar option is suitable.
🔑 Why Electrolytes? They help prevent confusion, lethargy, and overall health decline.
💡Tip: While water and orange juice are good, strive to include at least a liter of electrolyte-rich liquids daily.
